Kentwood Players presents NATIVE GARDENS, a comedy by Karen Zacarias.  Directed by George Kondreck and produced by Kathy Dershimer for Kentwood Players with rights secured from Samuel French, Inc., featured in the cast are Marina Portillo as Tania Del Valle; Robert Anaya as Pablo Del Valle; Phyllis M. Nofts as Virginia Butley; and Steve Izant as Frank Butley.

On April 7th, 2022 The Ivoryton Playhouse will open its doors for a new season – a very different season with fewer productions but more performances and a year full of exciting, affordable professional theatre. Oregon Shakespeare Festival has announced the month-long, five-play O! Reading Series. For this new initiative, five directors who are part of OSF’s artistic staff have each chosen a play to be performed as a live digital staged reading by some of OSF’s favorite actors.

After more than 15 months of a darkened stage as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Coachella Valley Repertory is welcoming back live audiences. “Welcoming patrons back to the Playhouse is an incredible feeling. Florida Repertory Theatre's Education Department has announced in-person classes for September and October featuring limited class sizes and enhanced safety measures. In addition to the safety measures, the classes will be held outdoors in order to keep both the instructors and students safe and healthy.

Variety has reported that theatrical creatives of color will come together for an event titled #WhileWeBreathe: A Night of Creative Protest to benefit civil rights organizations. 

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce that one of its 2019-2020 Touring Theatre for Young Audiences productions, William Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night,' is now available for online streaming and on-demand in-home viewing. Adapted and directed by Bill Kincaid, the production played to middle and high school audiences for three months before being cut short by COVID-19 closures.

Karen Zacarias's hilarious play Destiny of Desire was set to end Milwaukee Rep's 2019/20 Season in the Quadracci Powerhouse. While the hope was to delay the production to June, that option is no longer possible.

The Bret Adams and Paul Reisch Foundation has announced the recipients of their special COVID-19 response grants for playwrights, composers, lyricists and librettists who have had a full professional production cancelled, closed, or indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 closures.
