After thirty days, we conclude the Broadway World Cabaret look at artists for whom our team feels thanks. Here they all are, together, with some thanks of our own.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the 13th Annual “A Swinging Birdland Christmas” – starring vocalists Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso, and Billy Stritch – for six performances from Tuesday, December 20 to Sunday, December 25 at 5:30 PM.

After twenty years as the editor of Cabaret Scenes Magazine, Frank Dain is being honored with a one-night-only concert featuring some of the greatest entertainers in the industry.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present singer and violinist Edmund Bagnell in “Home for the Holidays” on Monday, December 12 at 8:30 PM. The countdown to the holidays is on, and through music and humor Bagnell shares his heartfelt and humorous recipe for a perfectly imperfect holiday season.

On Saturrday, 11/12 at 2 PM EST, noted interviewer Richard Skipper will join forces with 15-year-old theater podcaster Charles Kirsch to celebrate the life of one of Broadway's best, veteran press agent Susan L. Schulman.

Karen Mason and Christopher Denny are celebrating 30 YEARS... AND COUNTING and the audiences are so much the better for it.

St. Louis Cabaret Conference's Producer/Host Tim Schall helms a week of Master Classes and Workshops for Cabaret performers featuring a faculty of the Cabaret and Nightclub world's most respected professionals.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present acclaimed vocalist Carole J. Bufford in the New York debut of her concert “Vintage Pop!” for a special six-show run from Friday, December 9 through Sunday, December 11, with performances each night at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present “Barbra & Liza Live!,” starring Steven Brinberg (“Simply Barbra”) and Rick Skye (“A Slice O’Minnelli”), on Monday, November 21 at 7:00 PM. After sell-out shows in London and Dublin, Brinberg and Skye are celebrating these two icons together for the first time in New York.

Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

From highly-anticipated new movie musicals like Disenchanted and Spirited, to the soundtrack for Netflix's upcoming Matilda the Musical movie soundtrack, November's new streaming releases will give Broadway fans entertained throughout the month.

Anthony Rapp ('Rent'), Elizabeth Stanley ('Jagged Little Pill'), Tony Yazbeck ('Flying Over Sunset'), Max Von Essen ('Anastasia'), Alexandra Silber ('Fiddler On The Roof'), Major Attaway ('Aladdin'), and Becky Gulsvig ('Come From Away') will perform at the 55th annual gala of the Greater New York Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Cipriani South Street.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report the death of Broadway press agent Susan L. Schulman.

YELLOW SOUND LABEL will release Sondheim Unplugged: The NYC Sessions – Volume Three, the final installment of the monumental three-volume set dedicated to the oeuvre of iconic musical theater composer Stephen Sondheim. The third edition will be available on Friday, November 18 in streaming and digital formats, in addition to a 2-disc CD.

Broadway World Cabaret is looking at the work of two women we call THE MAVENS.

Show business tour de force and 10-time Tony Award-winning producer Jamie deRoy brought her acclaimed Jamie deRoy & friends cabaret show back to New York's famed Birdland, Monday, October 3rd, at 7:00 p.m. Check out the photos here.
