dick clark productions and NBC announced today that more top artists will join the list of star-studded performances at the "2019 Billboard Music Awards." Chart-topping singer/songwriter Halsey will take the stage for a solo performance of her #1 Billboard Hot 100 hit, "Without Me" in addition to her previously announced collaboration with BTS; multi-platinum selling artist Ciara will debut her new single "Thinkin Bout You" for the first time on television; and country superstars and seven-time 2019 Billboard Music Awards nominees Dan + Shay will perform with singer/songwriter Tori Kelly.

Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, is hosting its 20th Anniversary Kick-Off Celebration in Nashville on Friday, May 31 at the CMA Theater. The event will celebrate the organization's 20th anniversary of delivering the healing power of music nationwide and will feature a headlining performance by Warner Music Nashville superstar Blake Shelton and an opening set from label mate Cale Dodds. 

Over the weekend, Justin Timberlake gave his last two performances on his worldwide Man Of The Woods tour at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena.

On its fifth of five original shows broadcasting for the first time from Las Vegas (Friday, 4/5/19), ABC's “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” closed out the week with its highest-rated telecast of the week on Friday in Households (2.0/5) in the 56 Metered Markets. Friday's telecast grew over the prior day by 11% in Households (1.8/5), as well as opening night on Monday by 11% (1.8/5). Friday's show welcomed Celine Dion and Chris Tucker.

On the heels of his 2019 Billboard Music Award nomination for “Top New Artist,” announced this morning, twenty-one-year-old Lebanese/American r&b/pop phenomenon Bazzi has released the official follow-up to his back-to-back top 10 singles, “Mine” and “Beautiful.” Marking the rapidly rising star's first new solo music in a year, “Paradise” is available now at all DSPs and streaming services HERE. Following the week in Las Vegas, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” returns to Los Angeles to welcome the cast of Marvel's “Avengers: Endgame.” Each night, Jimmy will welcome guests including Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Chris Hemsworth, Danai Gurira, Jeremy Renner and Don Cheadle.

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Tony Lucca is flexing his Americana muscles on his forthcoming new album,Ain't No Storm, which he will be releasing on March 29, 2019.  Ain't No Storm reads like a who's who of East Nashville notables: Ken Coomer produced the record at his studio, Cartoon Moon, great Nashville players like Michael Webb, Ted Pecchio, and Joe Garcia lent their talents — and even Patrick Sweany stopped in for a cameo on “Room With A View.” Replete with songs borne of his admiration for Nashville's rich history – the town's creative community ultimately fueled Lucca's return to the studio and inspired the new album – Ain't No Storm finds Lucca embracing with reverence the process and craft of songwriting and taking his time (more than two years) to get it right.

GLSEN, the leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ youth, announced today that it will honor Brendon Urie, front man of the band Panic! at the Disco, with the Inspiration Award for his ongoing commitment to LGBTQ youth and for investing in the power of students to create more inclusive schools. Urie will be presented with the Inspiration Award at the upcoming 2019 GLSEN Respect Awards – New York, on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Cipriani 42nd Street.

Multi-Platinum R&B group B2K (Omarion, Boog, Fizz and Raz-B) are adding a Las Vegas date to their limited engagement tour kicking off this month, entitled “The Millennium Tour.” The iconic group, along with special guests Mario, Pretty Ricky, Lloyd, Ying Yang Twins, Chingy and Bobby V, will visit the MGM Grand Garden Arena Sunday, May 26. The tour is produced by G-Squared Events in association with Omarion Worldwide, Hall of Fame Entertainment, and Blvd. Music. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m.

City Theatre is thrilled to announce the details of the fifth show of the season: the world premiere of The Burdens by Matt Schatz. The Burdens is a dark comedy for the digital age. On Monday night, sixteen Broadway stars were featured in Broadway Sings Adele, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings series. The tribute concerts take the music of well-known music icons and create new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous concerts have included Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna. This summer, the Sony Hall series will continue with Broadway Sings Ariana Grande.
