Winners for the nonprofit Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center’s International Youth Solo Contest were announced in a pre-recorded awards ceremony broadcast recently. The second annual contest attracted 151 applicants from near and far, including representation from five continents.

Since the summer of 2005, Hawaii Performing Arts Festival has continued to bring world-class music to Hawai'i Island. Over the past 17 years, HPAF has garnered an international reputation as a premiere training and performance program for aspiring young artists worldwide, many of whom have gone onto significant careers as singers, conductors, directors, orchestral musicians, and teachers.
Quarterfinalists Announced for the 2020 American Traditions Vocal Competition

The 28 quarterfinalists have been announced for the 27th annual American Traditions Vocal Competition (ATC), which is slated to run Feb. 17-21, 2020. The 28 talented vocalists, selected from over 100 applicants, will be competing for $40,000 in prizes, plus special performance opportunities with ATC's partner organizations, Savannah Philharmonic and Savannah VOICE Festival.
