Director Meierjohann has choreographed Juliet Stevenson’s movements through a space as palpable as it is imaginary. The quality of the sound recording is so acute that you know exactly where she is at every moment. Stevenson’s performance is a marvel as she careens from the soothing, caring, den-mother to a shrieking, blood-soaked avenging angel, unafraid of what she has to do to survive.

In an experience where the audience is onstage, but actors are not, socially distanced patrons wear binaural headphones plunging them into the dystopic world of Blindness.

On April 2, the first night that indoor theater is permitted to open in New York City, the Daryl Roth's Off-Broadway production of Blindness will begin performances at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The production will seat just 86 people in the audience at a time.
