One of the nation's most lauded companies brings two of the world's greatest stories to Popejoy's stage this February. The Acting Company, celebrating its 50th anniversary, is touring the country with productions of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers in an adaptation commissioned by the company. Both productions will be performed in repertory in Popejoy Hall.

​​​​​​​Theatre Palisades was founded in 1963, making 2023 their 60th anniversary. They will be opening the anniversary season with 'Other Desert Cities' by Jon Robin Baitz. The play made its Broadway debut in November 2011 and was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The 10-episode mystery-of-the-week series marks the television debut for the brilliant Rian Johnson (Glass Onion, Knives Out, Star Wars) and is executive produced by and stars Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll, Orange Is The New Black). Watch the new video trailer for the upcoming series now!

Theatre for a New Audience has announced the extension of the Off-Broadway premiere of Denis Johnson’s Des Moines. The final play from the late author now runs through January 8, 2023 (extended from an original closing date of January 1).

For three nights only, from Thursday, January 12 – Saturday, January 14, two-time Tony Award nominee Eva Noblezada will welcome you to Nostalgia: A Love Letter to NYC, an intimate evening of songs and storytelling—celebrating everything that is so maddening and magical about our beloved city. Theatre for a New Audience has announced new preview, press, and opening dates for Denis Johnson’s Des Moines. Due to the detection of Covid within the Des Moines company, performances November 29 – December 3 have been canceled, with the production now beginning December 4.
