The highly anticipated action comedy series “MacGruber” has been picked up to series. Based on the iconic SNL parody sketch, Peacock has ordered eight half-hour episodes.

The new film An American Pickle, starring Seth Rogen, includes a scene where two characters, both played by Rogen, watch Barbra Streisand in the 1983 film Yentel. Rogen chatted with USA Today about the scene, where the idea came from, and whether or not Babs approves.

The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
