The cast of Mean Girls made 'fetch' happen in a big way at Broadway Sessions recently. Cast members Rick Younger, Jonalyn Saxer, DeMarius Copes, Talya Rae Groves, Ashley De LaRosa, Riza Takahashi, Brittany Nicholas, Myles, McHale, Iain Young, Chris Medlin and Gianna Yanelli brought the talent and the funny til the wee hours of the morning. Dear Evan Hansen's Mike Faist has been cast as Riff of the Jets  in Fox's Steven Spielberg West Side Story film, according to Deadline. Puerto Rican singer and dancer Ana Isabelle will play Rosalia, a shark who works with Maria and Dance Moms' Maddie Ziegler has been cast as part of the Jets. They have also cast  over 40 performers set as Sharks and Jets!

Mean Girls announces that Krystina Alabado will join the cast in the role of 'Gretchen Wieners' beginning Tuesday, March 12. Tony Award nominee Ashley Park will play her final performance in the role on Sunday, March 10.

Casting is now complete for A New York City staged reading of A Very Brady Musical, a new musical based on the iconic 1970's television show The Brady Bunch, which will be directed by multiple Ovation Award winner Richard Israel.

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Chasing Rainbows: The Road to Oz, a new Broadway-bound musical about the early life of Judy Garland, from her vaudeville sister act through her rise at MGM to win the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, just had an industry presentation in New York City. The musical has reportedly earned the approval of one very important guest, Liza Minnelli. She told Deadline:
