CineConcerts this weekend continued the Harry Potter Film Concert Series at the Royal Albert Hall, screening The Goblet of Fire accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.

The Alabama Symphony Orchestra recently conjured the Ghostbusters incredible music by Elmer Bernstein. They crossed the streams, making a musical walk down memory lane much more magical. Everyone was entranced as the live music faced the scary sweetness of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Pegasus: The Orchestra will make their Merkin Hall debut on Saturday, November 23rd at 8pm led by conductor Karén! Hakobyan. Glenn Dicterow, the legendary former concertmaster of New York Philharmonic, will join Pegasus concertmaster Eiko Kano for Bach's Double Violin Concerto. Opening the program will be the world premiere of Hakobyan's Contempo: Bach Recombinant and to close, Tchaikovsky's beloved Serenade for Strings. 

The New York Pops celebrates the holiday season with A Frank and Ella Christmas featuring jazz star Tony DeSare and stage legend Capathia Jenkins on Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall.

Tom Ashbrook releases his new single 'Sines' on 25 October via The Other Songs, which premiered via Clash Magazine. This is the title track lifted from his upcoming Sines EP, to be released on 22 November, mastered by Mike Cave (Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, The Charlatans) and mixed by Mike Halls (Clean Cut Kid). Previous single 'Toon Soon' recently premiered on Vents Magazine, and he has already seen support from Son of Marketing, Mr Foxx Frequency and Music Week. Ashbrook has toured extensively throughout his life and has shared the stage with Simply Red's Mick Hucknell at the Royal Albert Hall, played alongside Jools Holland as a session musician, and composed for the prestigious Matthew Bourne Dance Company. In addition, he worked alongside Sir Paul McCartney and 6ix Toys composing the anthem for Liverpool's 2008 award as European Capital of Culture city and toured with well known Pink Floyd Tribute band, Brit Floyd.

The Houston Symphony brings the most critically lauded of the Star Wars films to Jones Hall: Episode 5, the second movie of the franchise, a?oeStar Wars: The Empire Strikes Backa??a?"in Concert. Houston audiences can experience this blockbuster film like never before: on the big screen above the orchestra as the Houston Symphony performs John Williams' award-winning score live, Nov. 7a?"10.

Teaming up with DJs Tom Fire, Benoit Lugue, and Charles Schillings, Laurent Couson has come up a delightful concoction, Electro Symphonic Project.

The Cincinnati May Festival announced program details and artists for the 2020 Festival with nine performances taking place between May 21 and 31, 2020 at Cincinnati Music Hall as well as other locations, and an additional performance on April 5, 2020 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington, Kentucky. Joining the Festival's artistic leadership team of Principal Conductor Juanjo Mena and Director of Choruses Robert Porco is 2020 Artistic Partner John Adams.

The New York Pops will honor the songwriting duo Kristen and Bobby Lopez at its 37th Birthday Gala on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. The festive concert features the couple's iconic worksa?"written with each other, as well as with other collaboratorsa?"performed by The New York Pops, under the music direction of Steven Reineke, along with a starry line-up of guest artists to be announced.

On Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2P and 8P, the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra will perform this magical score live from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban while the entire film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen.

As the nights draw in, taking us closer to December and the final instalment of the Skywalker story arc, it's time once again for the Empire and the Rebel Alliance to come face-to-face at the Royal Albert Hall for another of the Film in Concert series. Following on from A New Hope back in November 2018, The Empire Strikes Back now takes centre stage. The screening is accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by composer John Williams' long-time collaborator Dirk Brossé.
