My salad days were spent growing up as a teen in the Blair era. My life has been shaped by Cool Britannia, The War on Terror and Sexed Up Documents. It's in my blood and created the outline of my now fully-formed Millennial Angst. Therefore, of course I wanted to review a show, examining and laughing at the very first Pop Prime Minister. I'm just not sure I enjoyed it.

Following its run in London’s West End at the Leicester Square Theatre, Harry Hill and Steve Brown’s musical, TONY! [The Tony Blair Rock Opera] is currently on a UK tour. New dates have been added to the UK Tour at Derby Theatre (12-16 September), Bromley Churchill Theatre (21-23 September), Eastbourne Devonshire Park Theatre (26-30 September) and Liverpool Playhouse (10-14 October, the same week the Labour Party Conference is in Liverpool).

From stand-up comedian and TV legend Harry Hill and his long-time collaborator Steve Brown comes the premiere of the rock opera the world has been crying out for: a reckless reappraisal of the life of former Ugly Rumours front man and Britain’s first pop Prime Minister Tony Blair. 

A rock opera about the life of former prime minister Tony Blair is coming soon to London. The opera, titled Tony! (A Tony Blair Rock Opera), was adapted by comedian Harry Hill.

Live Theatre and Soho Theatre have announced that following its critically acclaimed sell-out double run at Live Theatre, Newcastle and Soho Theatre, A WALK ON PART: THE FALL OF NEW LABOUR transfers to the Arts Theatre in London's West End, with John Hodgkinson reprising his highly acclaimed role as Chris Mullin, from tonight, 26 June, 7.30pm to 14 July.

Live Theatre and Soho Theatre previously announced that following its critically acclaimed sell-out double run at Live Theatre, Newcastle and Soho Theatre, A WALK ON PART: THE FALL OF NEW LABOUR is transferring to the Arts Theatre in London's West End, with John Hodgkinson reprising his highly acclaimed role as Chris Mullin, from today, Tuesday 19 June to Saturday 14 July.
