Georges and the dazzling drag artiste Albin, otherwise known as Za Za and the star of la Cage aux Folles, live an idyllic existence in the heart of St Tropez. But behind the curtains of this sparkling extravaganza, all may be about to change. Georges' son Jean-Michel announces his engagement to the daughter of a notorious right-wing politician determined to close down the local colourful night-life. Drama and hilarity ensue when a meeting of the parents forces them to cover up their vibrant lifestyle.

Last night, Nikolai Foster's revival of ANNIE opened at the Piccadilly Theatre in London's West End. The production stars Miranda Hart as Miss Hannigan, Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily.

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre has teamed with the University of Wolverhampton, the Arena Theatre and other arts organisations within the city to celebrate Artsfest - a festival of arts and culture within Wolverhampton and surrounding areas from Thursday 8 - Sunday 30 June 2017.

Birmingham Hippodrome is thrilled to play host to the first ever UK tour of the much-loved musical La Cage Aux Folles starring John Partirdge as 'Albin' and Adrian Zmed as 'Georges'. The show will visit Birmingham Hippodrome from Tue 16 - Sat 20 May as part of a nationwide tour.

Literally translated, La Cage aux Folles means 'the cage of mad women'. This seems an apt description for the characters and audience alike in Martin Connor's latest production. Funny and flirty, hysteria sweeps through the women and men in attendance and no doubt will the country, as the musical tours the UK for the first time.

Kate Fleetwood's varied career encompasses everything from musicals London Road and High Society to Macbeth and Medea. She's currently starring in American writer Lindsey Ferrentino's play about a soldier who returns home to Florida after suffering a life-changing injury in Afghanistan.

February at the New Theatre features plenty of drama, rock 'n' roll and laughs - plus a wiley fox. And for the first few days of the month, more feather boas, glitz and glamour!
