Tibbits Summer Theatre is presenting Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' through July 8 at Tibbits Opera House in Coldwater.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) has announced its 2023 - 2024 Season, including The Rocky Horror Show, I Am Delivered’t, Every Brilliant Thing, Dial M For Murder, Fannie: The Music and Life of Fannie Lou Hamer, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Disney's HERCULES will open in Hamburg as a spectacular musical full of humor, adventure, and joie de vivre that transforms the Stage Theater Neue Flora into the fantastic mythical world of the Greek gods. The production will begin performances on March 24th, 2024 and will be directed by Casey Nicholaw, and advance tickets are now on sale.

The Little Mermaid made a splash at the U.K. box office this past weekend! Disney's new live action reimagining of the classic movie musical earned £5 million ($6.2 million) at the U.K. and Ireland box office, accounting for 49% of the ticket sales across the three day weekend.

The Little Mermaid, which already took in $10.3 million in previews, made $38 million on opening day Friday, May 26th, bringing the 3-day total to $105M and the 4-day total to $125M in its first week of release.

Disney has debuted the soundtrack for the live action The Little Mermaid. Ahead of the live action reimagining of The Little Mermaid making its highly-anticipated debut in theaters, Disney has shared new photos from the upcoming film, offering a new look at Halle Bailey as Ariel and Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, plus the characters of Sebastian and Scuttle, voiced by Daveed Diggs and Awkwafina, respectively.

The Little Mermaid soundtrack is now available for pre-order and pre-save ahead of its digital release on May. Featuring all-new performances by the cast, the soundtrack is set to feature four new original songs that the original film's composer Alan Menken co-wrote with Lin-Manuel Miranda. 

Halle Bailey took to Instagram to share a first look at the new Little Mermaid Ariel doll, styled after her in the upcoming live action film.
