A Christmas Carol, which opened on Broadway November 20, 2019, has just broken another box office record at the Lyceum Theatre. Adapted by Jack Thorne and directed by Matthew Warchus, A Christmas Carol grossed $954,054.40 over nine performances for the week ending December 29. It tops the house record previously held by Oh, Hello, the Nick Kroll and John Mulaney comedy that grossed $911,602 for the week ending January 1, 2017.
“Late Night with Seth Meyers” is home to A-list celebrity guests, memorable comedy and topical monologue jokes. It is hosted by Emmy Award-winning writer Seth Meyers, who was one of 2014's TIME 100 Most Influential People and named to Variety's 2016 New Power of New York list. Previously, Meyers served as head writer on “Saturday Night Live” and anchor on the show's wildly popular “Weekend Update.” “Late Night with Seth Meyers” was nominated in 2017 for both an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series and a Writers Guild Award.
“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” have delivered their top weekly adult 18-49 averages, excluding weeks of high-rated primetime NFL coverage, since May, and, excluding those NFL weeks, “A Little Late with Lily Singh” has generated its top rated week to date.
