Live theatre is back and Premiere Stages is opening their season with a moving production of the new play, Year One. Set in the early 1930’s in Germany, the show portrays stark divergences in political ideologies within a family during a time of great societal change.

Selected as a finalist from the 2020/21 Premiere Play Festival, Year One will feature actors Kate Kearney-Patch, Kevin Loreque, Kaitlyn Lunardi, Kathy McCafferty and Eric Phelps. John J. Wooten, producing artistic director of Premiere Stages, directs.

Premiere Stages at Kean University will present three days of family entertainment outside on the Lawn at Enlow Hall on Kean University’s East Campus in Hillside, New Jersey. The Family Series kicks off on Saturday, July 17, 2021 and takes place on three consecutive weekends.

Premiere Stages in partnership with Matheny Arts Access and the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, will present Plays by People on Saturday, March 27 at 4 p.m. EST on Zoom.
