PSO Concerts to Feature Works by Sarah Kirkland Snider in May

On Sunday, May 15 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents its Passion & Affection concert performed in honor of Arnold H. Snider, III and featuring Sarah Kirkland Snider's Hiraeth, a multi-media work co-commissioned by the PSO with the North Carolina Symphony.

PSO Holiday POPS! Wonderlands Concert to be Held 12/19

On Saturday, December 19 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents Holiday POPS! Wonderlands featuring festive music sparked by imaginative visions of distant lands. Conducted by John Devlin, concert highlights include works by Vaughan-Williams, Tchaikovsky, Humperdinck, and Sibelius. The Princeton High School Choir performs Handel's Hallelujah Chorus from Messiah and arrangements of "I Saw Three Ships" and "Twelve Days of Christmas," accompanied by the orchestra. The traditional sing-along, an arrangement of seasonal favorites by Leroy Anderson, includes the addition of young violinists of El Sistema-Trenton playing alongside PSO professionals. The student musicians also perform David Rimelis' "Three Little Birds/Ode to Joy."

Gourmet Symphony to Play Atlas Performing Arts Center on Valentin's Day

Gourmet Symphony announces its first full-scale event to be held at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H Street NE Washington, DC 20002) on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 7 pm. The four-course culinary inspired concert features a 30-piece orchestra led by conductor John Devlin, performing masterpieces by beloved composers in an all-inclusive evening that celebrates the synergy between food, drink, and classical music. Tickets are $125 and currently on sale at atlasarts.org.
