“Watergate” chronicles one of the biggest criminal conspiracies in modern politics and features a roster of some of the most important media, legal and political figures from the scandal, including Carl Bernstein, Bob Woodward, John Dean, Jill Wine-Banks, Richard Ben-Veniste, and many others.

Through dressing up, dancing, disembodied animations, forced karaoke, and improbable ASMR storytelling, they are on a quest to enhance their own wellbeing, and yours! Stranded on Zoom, their relationship reveals a tender and funny, if slightly disturbing, world of online intimacy on the edge of misunderstanding and manipulation.

Just as Quentin Tarantino suggested an alternate reality to one of the industry's most famous scandals in “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” George Bugatti, takes our country's most notorious scandal and asks “What if … President Richard M. Nixon had not resigned?,”

'Trial on the Potomac- The Impeachment of Richard Nixon' with Rich Little as President Nixon will present a staged reading to be held in Las Vegas.

Variety reports that Amazon will produce a Watergate-era drama with Chris Pine attached to star. He will play Nixon lawyer John Dean, who was billed by the press as a 'connoisseur of cover-ups.' Dean will executive produce himself.

HISTORY(R)'s definitive original documentary, 'Watergate,' from Academy Award(R)-winning director Charles Ferguson ('Inside Job'), will make its theatrical debut on Friday, October 12 in New York at Cinema Village and in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Monica Film Center. The theatrical release of 'Watergate' will follow premieres at the Telluride Film Festival and the New York Film Festival.

The complete lineup for the Spotlight on Documentary section of the 56th New York Film Festival, taking place September 28-October 14 at the Film Society of Lincoln Center, has been announced.
