Rhys Ifans Is Atticus Finch In West End's TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

Producers Scott Rudin, Barry Diller and Sonia Friedman Productions today announced that Rhys Ifans will play the iconic role of Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird, the new play by Aaron Sorkin based on Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, directed by Bartlett Sher, which will open in London's West End in 2020. Further casting will be announced.

Casting Announced For ON BEAR RIDGE At Sherman Theatre and Royal Court Theatre

Casting is today announced for the National Theatre Wales and Royal Court Theatre co-production of On Bear Ridge by award-winning writer Ed Thomas (House of America and Gas Station Angel, Royal Court; HinterlandY Gwyll BBCS4CNetflix). Royal Court Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone (The Cane and Cyprus Avenue, Royal Court) and Ed Thomas will co-direct this semi-autobiographical story about the places we leave behind, the indelible marks they make on us, and the unreliable memories we hold onto.

The world premiere of a new musical for animal lovers of all agesis set to open at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. Ryan Bergmann (Die, Mommie, Die! at CTG Block Party) will direct the furry tale of fun created by Tony Cookson, with a book by Cookson and music and lyrics by John Daniel, Tony Cookson, Robb Curtis Brown and David O. Anthony Lucca will musical direct, and the choreographer is Janet Roston. Previews begin July 10, with the press opening set for July 15. Performances will continue through Aug. 5.

The Campy Cabaret Presents ACROSS THE UNIVERSE

The Campy Cabaret and Tony Patryn present a night of Beatles music from the movie Across the Universe. In this almost two hour showcase, a jam-packed cast of stage and screen veterans will be singing such hits as 'I Want to Hold Your Hand,' 'If I Fell,' 'Hey Jude,' 'Let it Be,' and more!
