Fellowship for Performing Arts announced today its productions for late 2018 and early 2019, marking the company's fourth full season in New York. The season will be headlined by the return of FPA's signature production of C.S. LEWIS' THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS and a revival of Robert Bolt's Tony Award-winning play, A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS, a Machiavellian political-religious drama ripped from today's headlines. The Old Globe presents the first offering in the 2017 Summer Shakespeare Festival: William Shakespeare's epic King Richard II, helmed by award-winning director Erica Schmidt (Off Broadway's A Month in the Country, All the Fine Boys, Humor Abuse) in her Globe debut. Critically acclaimed Fat Knight Theatre premiered the second play of their 2016 - 2017 Season with Charlotte Ahlin's The Summoning at the Winterfest Theater Festival Competition. Ahlin is a recent graduate of Oberlin College and a feature writer for Bustle.com. The limited run is directed by Emily Lyon, who recently directed the fall touring production of The Tempest for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. She also served as dramaturge for the New York Times Critic's Pick, Sense & Sensibility produced by BEDLAM.
