Peter Dinklage appeared on CBS Sunday Morning this weekend to discuss his role in the new film Cyrano.

The Los Angeles premiere of Cyrano has been delayed due to COVID-19. While the screening will still occur, the red carpet and after party events have been postponed, along with any other upcoming live appearances from the cast. It is reported that a member of the film's inner circle has been exposed to COVID-19.

Last night was the London premiere of the new musical film adaption of Cyrano. The film is based on the the stage musical from Erica Schmidt, with music by Aaron & Bryce Dessner and lyrics by Matt Berninger & Carin Besser. Bennett, who stars as Roxanne in the new musical film adaption of Cyrano, will reunite with the film's producer Joe Wright for Brood. The film is based on the novel by Jackie Polzin. Bennett had initially discovered the novel, bringing it to producer Molly Asher and then Wright.  A search for a director is currently underway.

Peter Dinklage appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to perform 'Your Name' from the new musical film adaption of Cyrano de Bergerac. He sang alongside Aaron and Bryce Dressner, of the musical group The National, who wrote the music for the new film. Watch the new performance now!

The prequel will follow Mufasa’s origin story, using the same animation technology as the 2019 blockbuster to further explore the backgrounds of the film's iconic characters. Pharrell was previously announced to contribute new music to the film.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage will lead MGM's Cyrano musical film adaptation, reprising a role he played off Broadway in 2019. Kelvin Harrison Jr. (The Photograph, Godfather of Harlem) has just joined the cast as Christian.

MGM has acquired Cyrano, a musical film adaptation. According to Deadline, Peter Dinklage will reprise title role that he played onstage at the Terris Theatre in 2018 and at the Daryl Roth Theatre in 2019.
