Arthur Miller's THE HOOK Comes to Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre

Brooklyn's Brave New World Repertory Theatre will present the American premiere of Arthur Miller’s unpublished screenplay, The Hook, adapted for the stage by Brooklyn-based writer Ron Hutchinson with UK director James Dacre, and directed by Claire Beckman, co-founder and producing artistic director of BNW Rep. 

Provincetown Theater to Present 4-STAR SOLO SHOW FESTIVAL

From the legendary wit of Dorothy Parker to the pizazz of a Broadway baby, and from one ripe-n-ready “banana” to a single woman's journey through a Scottish horror story, the second production of Provincetown Theater's 60th Anniversary Season will mark the return of another wildly diverse 4-Star Solo Show Festival, performing throughout the month of June at the company's playhouse at 238 Bradford Street in Provincetown, MA.

Nominees Announced for 2021 Drama League Awards, Honoring Digital and Socially-Distanced Theatre Across the Country

The Drama League has just announced the 2021 Nominees and Special Recognition Honorees for The 87th Annual Drama League Awards. Keeping in the tradition of honoring the outstanding accomplishments of the theatrical community, as they have since 1935, this year the organization has established five unique categories to honor the extraordinary achievements of artists across the nation who created digital and socially-distanced theatrical productions during this challenging year of suspension for live arts.

Stage Left, a new documentary web series about theatre and community created by Ashley Marinaccio announces its first full season to launch in January 2020. Stage Left examines the impact of theatre and performance on local communities and introduces viewers to the performances, artists, theatre-makers, and communities that are creating work in places that go largely unnoticed by the mainstream. Each episode of Stage Left investigates a theatre company, performance tradition or performative ritual that is actively using theatre to engage, challenge and inspire their own communities.

Queens Theatre Announces Its 31st Season
