Performances Added to CABARET AT THE END OF THE WORLD at IRT

Hard Sparks gives the ancients a twist with a pair of shows in rep: Melody Bates and Rebecca Hart's The Cabaret at the End of the World (directed by Joan Jubett), set in a nightclub in Julius Caesar-era Rome; and Bob Bartlett's Bareback Ink (directed by David Drake), a modern queer update of the Ganymede myth, set in a tattoo shop.

Raquel Cion's Critically-Acclaimed DAVID BOWIE SHOW Returns to The Slipper Room, 4/21 at 8 pm

When late last year BroadwayWorld.com announced its 2015 New York Cabaret Award nominees for "Best Alt Cabaret Show," Raquel Cion was named a finalist for her stunning show Me & Mr. Jones: My Intimate Relationship with David Bowie for performances that generated standing ovations from SRO crowds at The Slipper Room, 167 Orchard Street. After Bowie's death in January, Cion decided to bring back a revised version of Me & Mr. Jones . . . to the popular Lower East Side burlesque/variety club, for a three-show run that launched on March 24 and will continue with shows at The Slipper Room on April 21 and May 15 at 8 pm.

Cast Announced for Sanguine's Premiere of PRIMARY at IRT Theater

Sanguine Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Gracie Gardner's PRIMARY, directed by Alex Keegan at IRT Theater (154 Christopher Street, between Greenwich and Washington, 10014), April 6-24 with performances Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. TV Star Ilene Kristen Leads Dixon Place Reading of AND I SAW HER

Daytime television star Ilene Kristen will be featured in the staged reading of award-winning playwright Penny Jackson's AND I SAW HER tonight, March 10 at 7:30pm at Dixon Place. Directed by Presidential Scholar of the Arts, Shira-Lee Shalit, AND I SAW HER is being presented in Dixon Place's signature works-in-progress series. The reading is an Equity showcase.
