'Nunset Boulevard,' which stars the adorable Cindy Williams of TV's 'Laverne & Shirley' fame, is the latest installment in the well-loved series of 'Nunsense' musicals features the ever-popular sit-com star as Mother Superior, a somewhat naïve soul who takes her fellow Sisters (all from the original New York cast) to perform at the famed Hollywood Bowl...or so they believe.

But I know he would have loved its current production dedicated to him which is now playing at the Actors Company, directed and produced by Rowan Sutherland with Musical Director Melissa Sky Eagle, and Choreographer Marcus S. Daniel.

Celebrating 80 years, the Bergen County Players (BCP) will present Beehive, The 60s Musical, a rollicking revue of a musical decade dominated by historically powerful female performers. Under the direction of Dottie Fischer, Beehive will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from February 16th through March 9th.

The Maryland Ensemble Theatre will present the fourth show in its fifteenth anniversary season: Tennessee Williams' much-lauded classic, The Glass Menagerie. The Glass Menagerie is an American masterpiece that announced the presence of one of the greatest dramatists of the 20th Century. Williams' semi-autobiographical heartbreaking yet often humorous memory play about a young struggling poet and his tenuous relationships with his overbearing mother and his fragile sister is an emotionally charged portrait of hope in 1930s St. Louis that is timeless in its ability to capture the imagination and hearts of audiences.
On January 17, 2013 Red Line Tours launched their second set of collectors tickets, 'Directors Series,' highlighting four celebrated and iconic film directors. Designed by world-renowned artist, Andre Miripolsky, as a memento to patrons of the tour and of their visit to Hollywood. The tickets feature Charlie Chaplin, Alfred Hitchcock, Clint Eastwood and Sofia Coppola, the Silent, Golden, Modern and Contemporary eras of film. Pennsylvania Playhouse has announced the opening of the 2013 season. "Boeing, Boeing," written by Marc Camoletti and directed by Mark Breiner, tells the tale of Bernard, an American playboy in swinging 60s Paris who juggles 3 flight attendant fiancees-one American, one German, and one Italian. With the help of airline timetables and a phenomenally efficient housekeeper, he convinces each that she is his only love. But then a visit from an old school chum and a fast new Boeing jet puts everyone on a collision course, hurtling Bernard's cunning deception towards disaster, and provides lift-off for laugh after laugh. Featuring Beth Linzer, Joanne Rooney, Seth Rohrbach, mark Saylor, Kelly Rohrbach and Annie Locke, "Boeing, Boeing" is the perfect comedy to brighten the winter blues.
