Luke Combs' BEER NEVER BROKE MY HEART Sets Record For Most Adds At Mediabase

Luke Combs' new single “Beer Never Broke My Heart” has set the record for most adds on the Mediabase/Country Aircheck chart with 149 adds this week—breaking the record set by Carrie Underwood's “Smoke Break” in 2015. “Beer Never Broke My Heart” also marks Combs' highest debut on Billboard's Country Airplay chart to date and is the chart's top entrance by any act since September 2012. 

RATINGS: ABC, NBC Share Demo Crown in Tight Race on Monday

NBC (6.319 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) was the most-watched broadcaster on Monday thanks to new episodes of 'The Voice' (7.601 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and 'The Enemy Within' (3.753 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

RATINGS: THE TONIGHT SHOW Takes Late-Night Ratings of Week May 6-10

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has earned the late-night ratings win for the week of May 6-10 in adults 18-49 over “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research. Note that Friday's “Kimmel” was an encore.

Vampire Weekend's 'Father of the Bride' Debuts at Number One

Vampire Weekend's rapturously received pre-release run of events—including multiple TV appearances, and a New York State Tour including a surprise pop-up performance in Washington Square Park drawing thousands of fans and ending in a 56-song all-day musical marathon--has yielded its reward: the band's long-awaited fourth album Father of the Bride, released May 3rd on Spring Snow/Columbia Records, has entered the U.S. chart at #1.

CBS (7.775 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) was the top draw on Thursday thanks to the penultimate weeks of 'The Big Bang Theory' (12.253 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and 'Young Sheldon' (10.349 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) followed by the season finale of 'Mom' (8.188 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4) and new episodes from 'Life in Pieces' (5.710 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6) and 'SWAT' (5.076 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8).

Straight No Chaser Comes To Washington Pavilion

Atlantic Records recording group Straight No Chaser (SNC) has announced plans for a U.S. concert tour, "The Open Bar Tour." Straight No Chaser will take stage at the Washington Pavilion's Mary W. Sommervold Hall on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 8 p.m.

The Head And The Heart to Release New Album 'Living Mirage' Next Friday 5/17

The Head and The Heart's newest albumLiving Mirage is due out next Friday, May 17th on Warner Bros. Records / Reprise Records.  In anticipation of the release, the band announced an intimate, fan-focused release day show at New York's legendary Bowery Ballroom with tickets on sale NOW. Front and Center will film the performance for an upcoming episode airing this summer on public television. This show is ahead of their previously announced headlining Forest Hills Stadium show slated for June 23rd.

Luke Combs' new single “Beer Never Broke My Heart” premiered this morning worldwide at country radio. Stream/purchase HERE. The song's official music video will also debut today at 12:15pm ET. Combs will be chatting with fans ahead of the video launch on YouTube Music starting at 12:00pm ET. In celebration of the new music, Combs will perform the track on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” tomorrow, May 9.
