Casting Society of America honored excellence in casting across feature films, television and theatre at the 35th Annual Artios Awards held on Thursday, January 30 at ceremonies in New York, Los Angeles, and London. The New York ceremony was hosted by Michelle Buteau at Stage 48, Ron Funches hosted in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton, and Jason Isaacs hosted in London at the Four Seasons Hotel at Ten Trinity Square.

Described by the Los Angeles Times as a a?oecultural phenomenon,a?? Dear Evan Hansen comes to Portland's Keller Auditorium from January 28 through February 8. Casting includes Stephen Christopher Anthony in the title role. Jessica Sherman plays 'Heidi Hansen', Claire Rankin plays 'Cynthia Murphy', and John Hemphill plays 'Larry Murphy.' Noah Kieserman and Stephanie La Rochelle round out the Murphy family (as Connor and Zoe, respectively), with Alessandro Costantini as 'Jared Kleinman' and Ciara Alyse Harris as 'Alana Beck' completing the on-stage company.

Firemark Media announced today that Ron Lynch (“Bob's Burgers”), Mary Lynn Rajskub (“24”), Alyssa Limperis (“Comedy Bang Bang”), Jenny Zigrino (BAS SANTA TWO),Will Weldon (“This is Not Happening”) and Brooks Wheelan (“Saturday Night Live”) have been cast alongside Fred Armisen in the upcoming horrorcomedy TOO LATE, directed by D.W. Thomas.  Based on a script by Tom Becker, the film will be produced by Ryan Lacen and Anthony Baldino, and will be executive produced by Lonnie Ramati. Jack De Sena (“Chris & Jack”), Billy Breed (“GREEN BOOK”), Paul Danke (“The Comedy Garage”) and Dwayne Perkins (“Funny You Should Ask”) round out the cast.  Jessica Sherman (“The Strain,” “Bates Motel” and Oscar-winning short Skin) is set as casting director.
