The Guthrie Theater has revealed the cast for its upcoming production of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, adapted by Lauren M. Gunderson from the novel by Louisa May Alcott.

For SCR's impressive, must-see local revival, the show gets a hyper-hybrid treatment that combines nostalgic elements inspired by the original but infused with 21st-century sass and sensibilities. Alongside its visual splendor, the show also features a superb ensemble cast, resulting in a blissfully-raucous, infectiously smile-inducing production.

South Coast Repertory announced its 2024-25 season opener, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, running from Sept. 21 to Oct. 19 on the Segerstrom Stage. Directed by Jenn Thompson, this marks the show's SCR debut.

The Tony Award®-winning Alley Theatre has announced the cast and creative team of Chisa Hutchinson’s world premiere drama Amerikin. The play is directed by former Resident Acting Company Emeritus member James Black and runs February 11 – March 13, 2022 in the Neuhaus Theatre.

Directed by Jackson Gay, and by special arrangement with Robert Ahrens, Mickey Liddell and Michael Mills, Kleptocracy runs January 18 - February 24, 2019 in the Kreeger Theater.

The Syracuse Stage and Syracuse University (SU) Department of Drama Holiday production is an annual tradition for many Central New Yorkers. This year, the family friendly holiday show Elf the Musical is the perfect start to the Holiday season. Over the weekend I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods reimagined at the Storch Theatre in the Syracuse Stage Complex. Director David Lowenstein brilliantly brings those fairy tale stories and characters to life as if they were written and created for present times. Lowenstein and his cast of Syracuse University Drama students offer up a refreshing and captivating production that relates back to modern day sociopolitical issues, the celebrities in the news etc. The numerous pop culture references add to the experience, not detract from it.
