Whitacre, the exclusive luncheon will explore the current Broadway landscape with some of Broadway's leading players and stars, with a panel that includes Heather A. Playwright Alex Goldberg's Film CLOSURE To Premiere At DCIFF

5100 Films, 103rd Street Productions, Kampfire Films, Red Spear Productions and Writer/Director Alex Goldberg (Off Broadway's It Is Done) are pleased to announce the World Premiere of Goldberg's CLOSURE at the D.C. Independent Film Festival. The festival, which takes place February 14 -19, 2018, was founded in 1999 to nurture independent film. CLOSURE will World Premiere at 7:45pm on Saturday Feb 17th. Two-time Tony and GRAMMY Award winner Patti LuPone returns to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts (The Wallis), as part of the acclaimed Broadway @ The Wallis series, for a one-night-only Valentine's Day event featuring two intimate concerts at 7:30pm and 9:30pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. The Broadway legend will be joined on stage by Broadway @ The Wallis series host and music director Seth Rudetsky who wrote and starred in the Broadway musical Disaster! in a not-to-be-missed night of singing and conversation produced by Mark Cortale. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that filming trucks spotted outside the Shubert Theatre over the weekend were on hand to capture a performance of Hello, Dolly! for the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive. This weekend marked the final performances for many of the show's original cast members, including Taylor Trensch, Beanie Feldstein, David Hyde Pierce, and Tony winner Bette Midler.

A BRONX TALE to Donate to Families Affected by December 28th Bronx Fire

The producers of Broadway's hit musical, A Bronx Tale, will make a donation of $4.00 for every ticket sold to performances from January 16 through January 21 through The Child Reach Foundation to help families affected by the fire that burned the apartment building located on Prospect Avenue in the Belmont section of the Bronx on December 28th, 2017. The deadliest New York City fire in the past 25 years, the Bronx Fire took the lives of thirteen men, women and children.
