Part Broadway phenomenon, part educational experience and a night of inspiration; join three-time host and Tony Award winning legend Kelli O'Hara at the iconic Gershwin Theatre on Monday, June 24th at 7:30 p.m. for Arts For Autism.

The Tony-winning production of Ain't Too Proud, currently playing Broadway's legendary Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street), just celebrated a milestone- 100 performances on Broadway!

Musical director and pianist, Kevin Winebold, celebrates his 40th birthday with KEVIN WINEBOLD: MY FIRST FORTY YEARS with a host of Broadway guest artists in a benefit concert at The Players (16 Gramercy Park South). Guest artists include Desi Davar (WEST SIDE STORY), Nicolas Dromard (JERSEY BOYS), Lauren Elder (SIDE SHOW), Leigh Ann Larkin (GYPSY), Kimberly Marable (HADESTOWN), Arthur Migliazza (BOOGIE STOMP!), Anthony Nunziata (The Last Laugh), and Jelani Remy (AIN'T TOO PROUD). Proceeds from the concert will benefit arts education programs that Winebold will be creating this summer in Angola, Africa.

As one of the nation's leading professional theaters and recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award, Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Michael Stotts-Managing Director) has a well-earned reputation for launching both performers and shows to Broadway. Last week I went to the Drama Desk Award Nominations Reception at Green Room 42, here in NYC.  This is one of the last few events where you get to meet some of the newest folks doing theater OFF Broadway and On Broadway.  You also get a chance to chat to some of the actors who are nominated for this year's Tony Awards, as well.

Nominations for the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards were announced today. In keeping with the mission of the Chita Rivera Awards, nominators considered shows and films that opened during the 2018-2019 theater season.

Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG award-winning actress Rachel Brosnahan will be honored by Covenant House at A Night of Broadway Stars on Monday, June 3rd at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Broadway at 60th Street, New York City, for her advocacy on behalf of young people facing homelessness. 

The Green Room 42 Presents: An Evening With... Series: Doris Day, hosted by 2-time MAC Award Winner Doris Dear. Casting will be announced soon.

Monday night at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge, the fourth annual Broadway Bee competition scored impressive success. Broadway stars, cast mates, and supporters raised $41,898 for Broadway Bound Kids' arts education programs. Paige Davis, representing team Chicago, took home the grand prize trophy.

Over 800 guests gathered on May 6, 2019 at Pier Sixty in New York to celebrate Family Equality Council's 10th Annual Night at the Pier Gala. Attendees enjoyed a night of entertainment and moving stories, and raised close to $1 million for Family Equality Council's critical work on behalf of LGBTQ families.

Tonight, Broadway stars will compete to be the last one standing and win the Broadway Bee! The event is a comedic spelling bee between Broadway shows, hosted by the creators of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This unique evening supports the free and tuition-assisted arts education programs of Broadway Bound Kids, whose mission is to inspire and empower young lives through the arts.

Mean Girls star, Taylor Louderman, will be on hand at (Le) Poisson Rouge this Monday, May 6, as the 'Comfort Counselor' for Broadway stars participating in the 4th Annual Broadway Bee, a fundraiser for Broadway Bound Kids. In addition to the fetch Louderman, Afra Hines (Hadestown) and Jillian Mueller (Pretty Woman) round out the classroom of spellers who join previously announced Paige Davis (Chicago), Ali Stroker (Oklahoma), J Harrison Ghee (Kinky Boots), Jelani Remy (Ain't Too Proud), Lee Aaron Rosen (Angels in America), Evan Todd (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Zach Hess (Frozen), Lauryn Ciardullo (Aladdin), and Alex Weisman (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child).
