Second Stage Theater will present TOROS, written by Danny Tejera and directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch, this summer at Second Stage Theater Uptown.

Theatre Royal Bath Productions, by arrangement with Paul Blake and BFI Productions, has announced full casting for the UK premiere of Roman Holiday, when it opens at Theatre Royal Bath from 10 June this year.

Off-Glades Theater Company, a brand-new theatre company based in Boca Raton, Florida, will present 13 The Musical at Olympic Heights High School June 23rd and 24th only. 

Last night, Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown performed a selection of his work, including a few new pieces, for an intimate crowd of 50 musical theater fans and Dramatists Guild Foundation (DGF) supporters at Stella Tower. Check out photos here!

Desert Theatreworks has done a fabulous job with its final presentation of the season, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, a one act, two-character, mostly sung-through musical by Jason Robert Brown. Mr. Brown's take on the disintegration of a marriage, which unfolds before the audience's eyes and ears in eclectic musical styles, is emotionally powerful. The music, performed live by a keyboard and violin, and the superb on-stage performances in the production, help make this one of the most memorable shows I've seen.

The Bourbon Room, along with Joy Coalition, will welcome Tony, Grammy, Emmy and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning composer Tom Kitt for two special performances on Sunday, May 7 (8:00 pm) and Monday, May 8 (8:00 pm) at The Bourbon Room, situated right in the heart of Hollywood overlooking the Walk of Fame. Kitt will make his Bourbon Room debut, leading a night of songs and stories from his Broadway, Off-Broadway, and upcoming musicals.

Acclaimed guitarist/vocalist John Pizzarelli is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his debut album with a collection of classic songs from Broadway and Hollywood, Stage & Screen, with a new album via Palmetto Records. It features songs spanning nearly a century, given new life by Pizzarelli, bassist Mike Karn and pianist Isaiah J. Thompson.  Pizzarelli is celebrating with performances at Birdland this week.

Redhouse Arts Center is two weeks away from presenting the last show of their 2022/2023 Season. The Bridges of Madison County is a musical based on the novel by Robert James Waller, with book by Marsha Norman and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. It will open on May 12 and run through May 21, and will feature a cast of entirely Syracuse area talent.

Taking on one of the more complex characters of this Broadway season is Alex Joseph Grayson, who is bringing audiences to their feet with his performance in Parade.
