Williamstown Theatre Festival just opened the sixth production of the 2013 Main Stage season: The World Premiere musical, The Bridges of Madison County, on the Main Stage. Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announces the opening of the sixth production of the 2013 Main Stage season: The World Premiere musical, The Bridges of Madison County, opens tonight and plays on the Main Stage through August 18, following preview performances that began August 1. STAGE TUBE: In Rehearsal with CAMEO's SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, 8/9-17

The CAMEO 2013 season marks the 10-year anniversary of summer musicals in the Medina Performing Arts Center. In its first production in 2003, My Fair Lady, Medina native Rachel Spetrino was just 14 years old and was cast as a flower girl. This year Ms. Spetrino returns to direct her second CAMEO production, Songs for a New World, which opens August 9. Musical direction will be by another Medina high school alum, Tom Bonezzi. Kokandy Productions Presents THE LAST FIVE YEARS at Theater Wit, Now thru 8/25

Kokandy Productions presents the musical 'The Last Five Years', today, August 2 through 25 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. Traditionally, 'The Last Five Years' is performed by two actors accompanied by musicians; the Kokandy Productions concept has cast Jim DeSelm and Allison Hendrix to portray Jamie and Catherine respectively as well as accompany their performance on two pianos. John D. Glover directs, DeSelm and Hendrix are co-musical directors and K. Hannah Friedman serves as assistant director.

With top names already announced, the first LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET continues to attract more exciting performers to their roster, and they will perform throughout the exceptional month long Festival, setting London alive with the sound of Cabaret at its Songbook best. The LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET dates have been extended; with the Festival now starting on SUNDAY 13 OCTOBER and the new end date is SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER 2013.

The Bridges of Madison County, a new musical, based on the best selling novel by Robert James Waller, will begin performances on Monday, January 13, 2014, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), with an opening night late February 2014. The story takes us deep into the heart of our country and tells the very moving story of a beautiful young woman leaving Italy and suddenly living in Iowa... and her joyful discovery of love. THE LAST FIVE YEARS 2013 Off-Broadway Cast Album Gets 9/24 Release

Sh-K-Boom / Ghostlight Records will release the 2013 Off-Broadway cast recording of the hit Second Stage Theatre production of The Last Five Years, created and directed by Jason Robert Brown, both in stores and via online outlets on September 24. Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) extended this production starring Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe three times. Moritz, Jr. brought together a melange of Broadway's most impressive young talent for WHEN I GROW UP: BROADWAY'S NEXT GENERATION, a cabaret concert at 54 BELOW. Kenny Howard says that this group inspired him 'not only with their talents but also with a maturity that is far beyond their years.' For this cabaret concert, the children tackle the adult repertoire of their heroes, taking on music from SPRING AWAKENING, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, AVENUE Q, [TITLE OF SHOW], and more.

Patricia Richardson Leads I FORGIVE YOU, RONALD REAGAN at The Beckett Theatre, Beg. Tonight

The producers of I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan, the new play by John S. Anastasi, in which the present is on a collision course with the past, present the limited Off-Broadway run this summer. Directed by Charles Abbott, performances began at The Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street - between 9th & 10th Aves.) on Monday, July 15. Opening Night is set for tonight, Tuesday, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. The show is scheduled to play through August 25th.

Christine Pedi performed recently at French Woods Summer camp for a one night concert. With Michael Martin Ward at the piano, Pedi sang all her famous tunes. Christine Pedi has a long association with the satirical revue Forbidden Broadway and a Drama Desk nomination for Forbidden Hollywood, having played both shows in New York, London and around the world.

Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert visited students at Broadway Artists Alliance Alumni Session to share his journey from young actor to Tony Award Winner. Earlier this year, Ebert won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Mr. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical. Scroll down for photos from the event!
