 The Country Music Association visited Portland Sunday, Dec. 8 with hit songwriters Marcus Hummon, Lori McKenna, Lee Thomas Miller and Country artists  Kenny Foster and Tenille Townes. They performed to an enthusiastic crowd, sharing the stories behind their songs at the Aladdin Theater. See below for the evening's full setlist. 

Making its grand return to downtown Atlanta since 2015, Shaky Boots Festival will take place at Central Park, May 8-9, 2020. A Southern country festival true to its roots with a modern edge, Shaky Boots will feature over 20 bands across two stages with no overlapping sets. Chris Stapleton will be the subject of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum—set to open June 26, 2020.

GRAMMY® Award-winning and Country Music Hall of Fame members, The Oak Ridge Boys, released a new video today for “Don't Go Pullin' On Santa Claus' Beard,” the second song from their 8th holiday themed album, Down Home Christmas, from Lightning Rod Records/Thirty Tigers and is available now everywhere music is sold.

The Country Music Association will honor Conway Entertainment Group/Ontourage Management founder/owner Tony Conway with its 2019 CMA Touring Lifetime Achievement Award. Conway received the news during last week's CMA Board of Directors meeting in Nashville, where he received a standing ovation from Board members and CMA staff.  

The Country Music Association has revealed its 2019 Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award recipient—iconic Country Music star, Kris Kristofferson.

Chris Stapleton will headline the first-ever event at the new Texas Rangers baseball stadium, Globe Life Field, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 with very special guests Willie Nelson & Family, Jamey Johnson and Yola.

The Country Music Association's acclaimed CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank has announced a performance in Albuquerque at KiMo Theatre Tuesday, Oct. 15 featuring Lauren Alaina, Erin Enderlin, Sierra Hull and Luke Laird. The series hosts an intimate round of performances with some of Country Music's top songwriters taking turns sharing the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written. Tickets for the performance are $15 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 20 at 11:00 AM/CT (10:00 AM/MT) through the KiMo Theatre website and CMA Songwriters Series website. $1 of each ticket sold will benefit the CMA Foundation, CMA's philanthropic arm, which is committed to investing in high quality music education programs for all students in the United States.

When COLT FORD took the stage last night (9/17/19) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, little did he know the surprise that awaited him as he exited the stage after his performance and standing ovation. Country star Jamey Johnson presented FORD with an RIAA gold certified plaque marking sales of more than 500,000 units of Ride Through The Country, FORD's debut album released in 2008 featuring Johnson on the track, 'Cold Beer.'

C0-produced by Grammy winners Dan Auerbach(The Black Keys) and Dave “Fergie” Ferguson (John Prine, Mac Wiseman, Del McCoury, and more), the new full-length album was, as it usually is for Marvel, an easy-going, collaborative effort. GRAMMY® Award-winning and Country Music Hall of Fame members, The Oak Ridge Boys, will once again celebrate the Christmas season with their timeless hits and holiday classics on their 2019 Down Home Christmas Tour. The Oak Ridge Boys will perform over thirty-one concerts and are set to kick-off on November 13th in Branson, Missouri, playing in 28 cities and 14 states across the U.S. In conjunction with the tour, the Oaks' latest Christmas album, Down Home Christmas, produced by Dave Cobb, will be released by Lightning Rod Records/Thirty Tigers on October 25, 2019.

Hailing from Monkey's Eyebrow in Ballard County, Kentucky, Kelsey Waldon is certainly no stranger to the rural, workingman's world in which John Prine's songs come to life. Both artists are admired for their often candid, occasionally humorous view of normal, everyday life, so when it came time for Waldon to find a home for her songs, Prine and his long-independent Oh Boy Records welcomed her with open arms. Waldon has played shows with Prine before, but none as impactful as their appearance on last night's Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN.

Chris Shiflett confirms headline dates in California with stops at Costa Mesa's Wayfarer, Pioneertown's Pappy & Harriets, Bakerfield's Temblor Brewing and Los Angeles' Moroccan Lounge. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, May 23, at 10am local time.
