Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Connie Britton (“The White Lotus,” “Nashville,” “Friday Night Lights”) will moderate the conversation with Parton and Patterson. Immediately afterwards, she will give a live performance featuring songs from Run, Rose, Run, along with a few of her hits.

Spotify announced a new audio experience that blends audio storytelling with music and sound for an immersive listening experience - the Run, Rose, Run Bookcast. In partnership with Dolly Parton and James Patterson, Run, Rose, Run, will combine excerpts of their co-authored novel with its soundtrack written, produced, and recorded by Parton.

One of music's most revered storytellers, Dolly Parton, has released the latest single, 'Blue Bonnet Breeze,' from her upcoming album, Run, Rose, Run, alongside the track's whimsical lyric video. The album serves as a companion to the original novel, Run, Rose, Run, co-authored by James Patterson and Parton, which is set for release on March 7th.

Changing Channels, by John Reeger, is a story of 1950's television, the Red Scare, and the costs of standing your ground. Peter Bisgaier and Kate Fahrer star as Eddie Gilroy and Maggie Carlin, stars of 'For Pete's Sake' (the play's equivalent of The Honeymooners). When their show gets transferred to the CBS network, everyone involved is destined for fame and fortune, with one small hitch. Maggie is accused (inaccurately) of being a Communist sympathizer during the height of McCarthyism.

The Audio Publishers Association (APA) have announced finalists for the 2022 Audie Awards. Finalists include Cynthia Erivo for Best Female Narrator and Lin-Manuel Miranda for Best Male Narrator. Leslie Odom Jr., Annie Golden, Telly Leung, and Jason Tam are also featured on audiobooks that made the list. Check out the full list of nominations now!

Northwestern Connecticut Community College in Winsted, CT and the Warner Theatre in have partnered to provide live theater opportunities for students at a nominal cost.

Fulton Theatre continues the Ellen Arnold Groff Series produced in the Tell Studio Theater with the World Premiere of Changing Channels. Written by John Reeger (The Man Who Murdered Sherlock Holmes, The Christmas Schooner) the play is set backstage at the DuMont Television Network in New York City. Comedy actress Maggie Carlin has her integrity questioned during Cold War turmoil when actors are being blacklisted for their political beliefs.

The album, out on Butterfly Records in partnership with Ingrooves/UMG, is the companion project to an original novel, Run, Rose, Run, co-authored by James Patterson and Parton. The album will be available on all digital streaming platforms and for digital download, as well as in CD, standard vinyl and some special vinyl color variants.

TDF’s Autism Friendly Performances will present Little B’s Broadway, a virtual theatrical experience for families with children and adults on the autism spectrum on Sunday, December 12 at 1pm. Created by Becca Yuré, Little B’s Broadway will be the third show TDF has presented starring this much-loved character.

Recently heralded at #63 of the 100 Greatest Songs of All Time by Rolling Stone, music legend Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” is one of country music’s most beloved tracks.  Today, November 12, RCA/Sony Music Entertainment has released the “Jolene (DESTRUCTO Remix)” as a rare official remix, crossing the song into new musical territory.

The performance art piece Fragments, a live audio story concludes this weekend, with performances on Saturday, May 15th, and Sunday, May 16th, at 6:00pm and 7:30pm on both days.

Fragments will play Saturdays and Sundays at 6:00pm and 7:30pm, on May 1-2, May 8-9, and May 15-16, at Liberated Fitness (1005 Columbus Avenue). In accordance with New York State guidelines, all performances will accommodate socially distanced seating at a maximum of 10 people per performance.

Featuring a stunning array of live dance, video projections, original composition, and a timeless story, Fragments has been adapted in accordance with current New York State health guidelines.
