In just days, the nation's most talented teens will gather at the Minskoff Theatre to perform at the Jimmy Awards! This year, 92 nominees, coming from 46 high school musical theatre awards competitions across the U.S. will compete for the ultimate prizes of Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor award, as well as other honors and scholarships.

It's been one year since Bryson Battle took center stage as a winner of the 12th annual Jimmy Awards. As a participant from Charlotte, North Carolina's Blumey Awards, Battle took part in the first ever virtual presentation on July 15, 2021, and was awarded Best Performance by an Actor, along with a check for $25,000 to further his education. The Miami Valley High School Theatre Awards (MVHSTA) Showcase will be at the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m., hosted by Dayton Live. Orpheum Theatre Group Announces Winners for the 13th Annual High School Musical Theatre Awards

Students and supporters from 38 participating schools across three states gathered in celebration of their peers performing on the Orpheum stage and in support roles behind the scenes. The evening was a culmination of a year-long program bringing students from all over the Mid-South together for an intensive week of team building, collaboration, and celebration of musical theatre.
