ODC to Present 9th Home Season of Hope Mohr Dance, 6/9-11

ODC Theater will present the ninth home season of Hope Mohr Dance, a company esteemed for its 'rigorous conceptual approach to fundamental questions about the body in space and time' (Dance View Times). A company-in-residence at ODC, Hope Mohr Dance will perform a double bill featuring the world premiere of Manifesting, a dance theater work inspired by art manifestos, and the revival of Stay, Mohr's choreographic response to paintings of Francis Bacon. Hope Mohr Dance's ninth home season runs June 9 - 11, Thursday to Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 - $45, and may be purchased online at odcdance.org/tickets.
Full Cast Announced for Theatre Royal Plymouth's MONSTER RAVING LOONY

Simon Stokes, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Plymouth, today announces full cast for the London run of Monster Raving Loony. Samuel James reprises his role as Screaming Lord Sutch, alongside original cast members including Joseph Alessi, Joanna Brookes, Jack Brown, and composer/musician Tom Attwood and they are joined by Vivienne Acheampong who completes the cast for the London run. Set & Costume Design is by Bob Bailey with lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan, audio visual design by Duncan McLean and sound design by Gregory Clarke. Guest Director is Cal McCrystal (with a trademark bravura farce contribution).

FINDING NEVERLAND, the story of how Peter became Pan, celebrated the arrival of its three latest stars following the performance on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. Three time Tony Award-nominee Marc Kudisch, Sally Ann Triplett, and Tony Award-winner Alfie Boe celebrated with the rest of the company over a slice of Neverland themed cake, courtesy of The Cake Boss. The Donmar presents the UK premiere of Elegy by playwright Nick Payne. Directed by Artistic Director Josie Rourke, the full cast is Barbara Flynn as Carrie, Nina Sosanya as Miriam and Zoe Wanamaker as Lorna, all making a return to the Donmar stage. Elegy starts previews from tonight 21 April and imagines a very-near future in which radical and unprecedented advances in medical science mean that it's now possible to extend life.

Tony Award winners Janet McTeer and Liev Schreiber will return to Broadway this Fall in the Donmar Warehouse production of Les Liaisons Dangereusesby Christopher Hampton, directed by the Donmar's Artistic Director Josie Rourke. The production begins performances on Saturday, October 8, 2016 and will open on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th St). This is a 15-week only engagement through Sunday, January 22, 2017.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Emmy and Golden Globe award winner Kelsey Grammer recently took his final bow as Charles Frohman/Hook in Broadway's Finding Neverland on April 3rd. Grammer returned to the role on January 19th of this year after a brief hiatus. Paul Slade Smith will take over the role temporarily beginning this week.
Sources have told us that Broadway favorite Marc Kusdisch will take on the role next, officially joining the company on April 12.
