Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has created the series Finishing the Bonnet to give theater lovers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of a Broadway bonnet.

NBC has averaged a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall for the primetime ratings week of March 30-April 5, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

PHISH has released their new studio album, Sigma Oasis today, April 2. The band hosted a worldwide listening party of the album in its entirety last night, April 1, via YouTube and Facebook. Produced by Phish and Vance Powell (Chris Stapleton, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys), the album's nine tracks were recorded last November at The Barn, the band's longtime studio outside of Burlington, Vermont.

Joshua Homme's collaborative motley crew Desert Sessions follow up the recent fever dream vision of their “Easier Said Than Done” clip with the latest music video from Desert Sessions Vols. 11 & 12 (aka respectively Arrivederci Despair and Tightwads & Nitwits & Critics & Heels) (Matador):  'If You Run.” Directed by filmmaker / actor Rio Hackford, “If You Run” stars Homme and DS newcomer Libby Grace as a mysterious hitchhiker, following them on a sinister trip through the Joshua Tree desert, culminating in a freakishly hallucinatory finale set at the famed Rancho De La Luna studio. Hackford's “If You Run” visualization also stars DS collaborators Billy Gibbons, Dave Catching, Matt Sweeney, Stella Mozgawa, and Carla Azar.

Smoke Fairies release their first new album in four years today: Darkness Brings The Wonders Home. The set is the sixth studio LP from the band. Smoke Fairies are Jessica Davies and Katherine Blamire who first met at school in their native England and for this LP they traveled to our side of the pond to record in Seattle with producer Phil Ek (The Black Angels, Fleet Foxes, The Shins.) Over the course of a rigorous month-long session they adopted a purposely intimate approach to achieving a singular sonic tone.

Lauded Atlanta band Mattiel are announcing additional shows for their first run of coast-to-coast American dates since the release of their much acclaimed second album, Satis Factory, out now via ATO Records. The tour kicks off in Houston, Texas on January 23rd and winds its way around the country, taking in Los Angeles, the West Coast, the South, the Midwest, Canada, Chicago, New York City and the East Coast. Smoke Fairies release a new single today 'Chew Your Bones.' The track is taken from their forthcoming album Darkness Brings The Wonders Home set for release next Friday, January 31st. The set is the sixth studio LP from the band and was recorded in Seattle and produced by Phil Ek. 

The Australian Ballet's 2020 contemporary triple bill Volt features two highly acclaimed, lightning-fast works by a giant of the contemporary ballet world, Wayne McGregor, and one brand-new work by the company's resident choreographer, the Helpmann Award-winning Alice Topp. Volt will set pulses racing at Arts Centre Melbourne from 13 to 24 March, and at the Sydney Opera House from 3 to 22 April.

The Raconteurs - Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler - have announced 'Help Me Stranger' b/w 'Somedays (I Don't Feel Like Trying)', a new double A-side 7' available for purchase today on standard black vinyl. A limited tri-color edition will be available at Third Man Records storefronts tomorrow, Saturday, December 14, while supplies last. The radio edit of “Help Me Stranger” does not include the acoustic intro of the song and the alternate version of “Somedays” is a non-album version of the track, with an alternate acoustic interlude.
