BroadwayWorld has a first look at MRS. DOUBTFIRE which celebrates its opening night tonight at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre! Get a first look at the cast in action!

Following multiple media reports of GLAAD working with the producers of the new Mrs. Doubtfire musical in Seattle, the organization has clarified their involvement with the production - as well as the current Broadway musical Tootsie - which is set to wrap up it's run in January.

Following a week of sold out previews, The 5th Avenue Theatre has announce that the world premiere production of Mrs. Doubtfire has been extended through January 4, 2020 by overwhelming demand. Mrs. Doubtfire, which officially opens Friday, December 13, 2019, will play an additional week past the original December 29, 2019 closing date. Tickets for the Broadway premiere of Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical, are now on sale at Telecharge.com. Produced by multi-Tony Award winner Kevin McCollum (Avenue Q, Rent, In The Heights, Something Rotten!), Mrs. Doubtfire is based on Twentieth Century Fox Motion Picture. Mrs. Doubtfire will begin previews on Monday, March 9, 2020 and open on Sunday, April 5 at Broadway's Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).

Complete casting has been announced for Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical that will have its world premiere this holiday season at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, playing November 26 a?' December 29, 2019.

This just in! Mrs. Doubtfire, the new musical based on the film of the same name, will open on Broadway this coming spring at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Previews will begin Monday, March 9, 2020 in advance of an official opening night on Sunday, April 5, 2020.

This Month, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

The lineup is set for the first of three Broadway Sings concerts honoring singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles. On September 30 at The Green Room 42, this Broadway Sings spinoff concert will feature original a?oeunpluggeda?? arrangements of Bareilles' hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band. The night will offer two identical shows at 7pm and 9:30pm.

Last night Broadway stars and student Thespians shared the stage at Edison Ballroom for the 5th Broadway Back to School Gala supporting the Educational Theatre Foundation.  The event honoring Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman's dedication to educational theatre featured some of the biggest names in Broadway, including legends Chita Rivera and Patti LuPone, host Laura Benanti, John Cariani, Gavin Creel, Evan Ruggiero, Carla Stickler, Alex Stone, and J. Harrison Ghee who appeared as Crystal Demure.

The Broadway Back to School gala honored Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman on Sunday, September 22, 2019, at the Edison Ballroom. Shaiman and Wittman received the Broadway Back to School Award recognizing their impact as key leaders in the theatrical industry and education in building access and excellence in school theatre. The gala is a benefit for the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) which provides financial support for theatre education programs for schools in need.

Patti LuPone, the multiple Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award winner, will be on hand for the Broadway Back to Schoolgala honoring her good friends Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman

Three all-star lineups are set for the next concerts in the new Broadway Sings spinoff series, Broadway Sings: Unplugged. On September 30, October 21, and November 18, The Green Room 42 will present three different casts for Sara Bareilles: Unplugged each month, featuring original a?oeunpluggeda?? arrangements of the singer-songwriter's hits, orchestrated for an acoustic band. Each night will offer two identical shows: 7pm and 9:30pm.

The Muny announced today attendance totals for the first season of its second century.
