Kennedy Center has announced events and performances for the months of March – April 2022!

Based on a book of short stories by Cecelia Ahern, the series is the first to be released under “Roar” and features an all-star cast including Nicole Kidman (“Being the Ricardos”), who also executive produces; Cynthia Erivo; Issa Rae; Merritt Wever; Alison Brie; Betty Gilpin; and Meera Syal, Fivel Stewart and Kara Hayward.  

Guillermo del Toro (“Nightmare Alley”) will be presented with the Final Draft® Hall of Fame Award. The inaugural Final Draft Trailblazer Award will go to Academy Award® winning filmmaker Jane Campion (“The Power of the Dog”). Nicole Holofcener and Danny Strong will receive the Storyteller Award for film and TV respectively.

With his soulful spirit, and attesting to his singular creative vision, Josh Levi gifts us with a live performance of his single “NASA”. Beginning his performance with an intimate approach while showing off his R&B cadence, Levi escapes the song using the black ambiance to his advantage and centering himself with high energy choreography.

Today, the full list of nominees for the “53rd NAACP Image Awards” were announced. Nominees included Ariana DeBose, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Encanto, Cynthia Erivo, Audra McDonald, Respect, Taraji P. New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announces the return of the annual Valentine’s All-Star Comedy Show starring actor and comedian Bill Bellamy, the queen of Instagram comedy Jessica “Jess Hilarious” Moore, Lavell Crawford known for his iconic role as Huell Babineaux in Breaking Bad and Freddie Ricks all take to the stage for two hilarious shows.

An intimate look at the making of the final season and the cultural impact of the HBO award winning comedy, Insecure. Featuring interviews with: Issa Rae, Jay Ellis, Yvonne Orji, Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales, Wade Allain-Marcus, Kendrick Sampson and Christina Elmore.

Films such as West Side Story, tick, tick...BOOM!, Cyrano, Encanto, and In the Heights were recognized this morning by the Hollywood Foreign Press. Nominees also included Peter Dinklage, Denzel Washington, Cynthia Erivo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ewan McGregor, Uzo Aduba, Aaron Sorkin, Hannah Waddingham, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and more.

St. Panther has unveiled the new music video for single “Places,” from latest two-track bundle including “Greatness” and “Places,” released last month. St. Panther’s song “Infrastructure” landed a sync in Season 4 of Issa Rae’s hit HBO show Insecure, and song “B.O.M.B” was included in the season finale of the HBO MAX Gossip Girl reboot.

Nominations for the 2021 Critics Choice Awards were announced this afternoon and a slew of Broadway favorites are in the running at this year's ceremony.
