Get your DVRs ready - on Monday, May 20, the cast of Broadway's The Prom is set to perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert!

New Dramatists, Tony Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, honored three-time Tony Award winner, Nathan Lane, with its 2019 Distinguished Achievement Award at its 70th Annual Spring Luncheon Tribute on Tuesday, May 14th at the New York Marriott Marquis.

This year's Stars in the Alley concert was held on May 10. Hosted by Alex Brightman, the celebration included performances and appearances by 2019 Tony Award-nominated performers including: Caitlin Kinnunen (The Prom), Sarah Stiles (Tootsie), as well as performances from 2019 Tony Award-nominated musicals including: Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations; Beetlejuice; Hadestown; Kiss Me, Kate; Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!; The Prom; and Tootsie.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, has announced the performers for the concert that will take place on Friday, May 10th at 1pm in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets.

Last night, Chasten Buttigieg, Indiana theater teacher and husband of president hopeful Pete Buttigieg, made an appearance at The Prom! After the show he took photos with the cast. Check them out below!

BroadwayWorld has just learned that The Prom will perform at the WorldPride Closing Ceremony on June 30th in Times Square. Melissa Etheridge will headline the Closing Ceremony, which will also include performances by Jake Shears & MNEK. Additional talent will be announced in the weeks ahead.

Tony award-winning actress Beth Leavel stopped by Good Morning America to perform her show-stopping hit, 'The Lady's Improving.'

Six-time Emmy Award winner Ryan Murphy announced today on Instagram that he will host a special performance of THE PROM to benefit Hetrick Martin, GLAAD and The Trevor Project on Tuesday, April 9.
