Drury Lane Theatre has announced casting for its production of The Audience. Written by Peter Morgan, writer of the Emmy Award-winning “The Crown,” Drury Lane’s production is directed by Jessica Fisch and runs August 28 – October 20, 2024.

Pre-Existing Condition by Tony Award nominee Marin Ireland will extend for two weeks through August 17 and will star Emmy Award winner Edie Falco in the rotating role of “A” beginning on August 6. 

Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club at the August Wilson Theatre has released the performance schedule for understudies David Merino and Marty Lauter, who will alternate the role of ‘Emcee’ through the end of August.

Ahead of opening night tonight, Little Island shared a first look at production photos of Open Throat, a theatrical adaptation of the acclaimed and award-winning novella of the same name by Henry Hoke, directed by Caitlin Ryan O’Connell, and starring Chris Perfetti, Jo Lampert, and Calvin Leon Smith. Open Throat will run at Little Island’s The Amph through Sunday, July 14.

THE 24 HOUR PLAYS has announced this year's cohort for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, which will return this summer for their 13th year. A weeklong professional development initiative for early-career theater artists, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals 2024 will take place July 15-22, 2024 at the Pace University Lower Manhattan campus.
