Disney's Aladdin on Broadway has created a new 360 video experience. The VR video places the viewer right on stage of Broadway's legendary New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City for an immersive performance of the iconic 'Friend Like Me.'

On Monday, June 25 at their annual Broadway Beacon Awards Gala at The JW Marriot Essex House (160 Central Park South), leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser) will honor Tony Award Nominee Ethan Slater (currently starring in the title role of the Tony-Nominated SpongeBob Square Pants the Musical). The evening will also honor Tony Award-winning Broadway producer Orin Wolf (The Band's Visit; President, NETworks Theatrical Presentations), Kenneth G. Alberstadt (Partner, Akerman LLP) and Alexandra Kambouris Alberstadt (Partner, Perkins Coie LLP). The gala will feature a special performance from the Broadway cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical and will be hosted by FOX5 reporter Baruch Shemtov.

On May 22 leading NYC arts education nonprofit Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser) and the Broadway production of The Phantom of the Opera will present a special Creating the Magic program offering an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Broadway featuring the Phantom Broadway cast & production crew. These exclusive 70-minute programs will be offered to over 2,500 NYC public school students at the Majestic Theatre on 5/22 at 11:00am and 2:00pm.

The improv comedy show Harry's Senior Moment which highlights palliative care returns to the Off Broadway Palm for five performances only May 3 through May 6, 2018! Join Harry and his friends as they lead the audience on an imaginative, made-up-on-the-spot, comedic romp based on audience suggestions. The Friars archives and Wikipedia have finally been corrected. Nineteen Eighty Eight was a watershed year for women. They gained membership to numerous private men's clubs that heretofore were off limits to women. The Friars, being one of the more famous of the bunch had an article heralding the event written by a less than factual reporter for The New York Times. The paper of record, in an early forerunner of fake news only listed the first 7 women and overlooked number 8...Jamie deRoy who was in that initial group, along with Liza Minnelli, Joan Rivers, Brooke Shields, and other prominent female entertainment figures was not mentioned.

A Chorus Line meets tequila, 18 singing actors will drunkenly perform 32,16,8, maybe event 2 bar cuts from their audition book in front of live audience and industry guests. Nothing screams comedy like a workplace fantasy sequence. The Nazareth College Theatre and Dance Department will take on the stage version of 9 to 5: the Musical, based on the 1980 hit film of the same name, April 21-22 at 7:30pm and April 23 at 2 pm in the Callahan Theatre at the Nazareth College Arts Center.
