Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser is pleased to announce that on Thursday, December 10, Finding Neverland and the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street) will be visited by thousands of NYC public school students when the theatre arts & education organization will present its popular 'Creating the Magic' Program. Featuring the cast and production crew of the hit Broadway musical, the special 80 minute program will be offered at 10:45am and 1:15pm.

The guided Fall tour will take visitors inside Broadway, providing not only accommodations, travel and show tickets, but exciting additional experiences that cannot be arranged privately.

Last night Inside Broadway honored the renowned opera singer Renee Fleming (who starred on Broadway this season in Living on Love) and Broadway & TV star Tony Danza(who starred on Broadway this season in Honeymoon In Vegas) at their annual Beacon Awards. Taking place at The JW Marriott Essex House (160 Central Park South), the Broadway Beacon Awards are presented to individuals in the theatre and Times Square community who have been advocates for increasing the audience for live theatre and for understanding the importance of Arts and Education in the lives of New York City's young people. The first Broadway Beacon Award was given to Carol Channing in 1995.

This July, Prospect Theater Company will once again host a three-week Summer Intensive for musical theater students ages 12-17. Beginning Monday, July 6 and running through Saturday, July 25, admitted students will participate in a daily musical theater training program from Mon. - Sat., 10am-6pm (Sundays off).
It happens every time the NYC school kids see some romantic activity on stage. The squeals, oohs & aahs from the youngsters are a delight to hear. It's a first time Broadway experience for most of them. The school busses were lined up early at The Lyric Theatre for the 10:15 & 1:15 special mini performances by some of the cast members of the hit show On The Town. Michael Presser and all the folks involved with 'Inside Broadway Creating The Magic' make it possible for hundreds of school children to get a behind the scenes look at the workings of a Broadway Show.

Last night at it's annual Cabaret Gala it presented Broadway legend Chita Rivera, whose stage career has spanned a remarkable six decades.
Star of stage and screen Tony Danza (who stars in Jason Robert Brown's highly anticipated new Broadway musical, Honeymoon in Vegas, starting performances at The Nederlander on Nov. 18) has partnered with the Great White Way's leading arts-education organization Inside Broadway to be their 2015 Arts and Education Ambassador.
This month the Great White Way's leading arts-education organization Inside Broadway and the largest local union of professional musicians in the world, Local 802 AFM, will offer a special "Summer Stock Jr." Camp from August 11-15 for NYC public school students grades 3-12. During the program, the students will be working with Inside Broadway teaching artists and members of Local 802 on putting together an original musical as well as taking exciting backstage field trips around Broadway; this is the sixth year of the program and the fourth year Inside Broadway has partnered with Local 802 AFM.
