Whether you're a longtime friend of the Blumenthal or just starting to explore our area's rich arts and culture scene, you're cordially invited to attend one of two upcoming Open Houses at Belk Theater.

Drop by and explore the beautiful Belk Theater on August 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and/or August 20 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and check out your seating options for our upcoming ENCORE Series and other shows being featured during our 25th Anniversary Season.

"We have the biggest and best lineup of shows in our history coming to our iconic Belk Theater over the course of the next year and we look forward to celebrating with the whole community," said Blumenthal President/CEO Tom Gabbard. "These free Open Houses are a great way for all patrons to truly get to know Charlotte's premiere spot for touring Broadway."

The Open Houses will include exclusive backstage tours and an Inside Broadway Chat with Blumenthal President/CEO Tom Gabbard. Attendees can also register for the chance to win a pair or ENCORE Series Season Tickets, which includes seats for opening night for all five shows in the series AND an invitation to all five opening night cast parties!

For more information, visit BlumenthalArts.org/OpenHouse.

More than 1,500 season tickets have already been sold for the new ENCORE Series. ENCORE Series ticket buyers will enjoy some great benefits that only come with season tickets. Perks include securing the best seats at the best price, before single tickets go on sale and prices rise. Buyers can also choose an extended payment plan that allows them to pay for their series tickets in up to ten installments (call 704-335-1010 for this option).

The 5-show ENCORE SERIES includes:

Les Misérables (Dec. 13-17, 2017-Ovens Auditorium)

The Phantom of the Opera (Jan. 17-28, 2018 - Belk Theater)

Beautiful - The Carole King Musical (April 17-22, 2018 - Ovens Auditorium)

The Book of Mormon (July 24-29, 2018 - Belk Theater)

Disney's The Lion King (Aug. 22-Sept. 9, 2018 - Belk Theater)

For more information, visit BlumenthalArts.org/Encore, call 704-335-1010, or visit the Belk Theater box office, 130 N. Tryon St., Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
