Inside Broadway presented it's Beacon Awards last night at it's 35th anniversary season Gala and BroadwayWorld was inside the JW Marriot Essex House for the festivities.

Honored at this years event were actors Kate Burton (Tony Nominated Present Laughter) and Tony-Nominee Ramin Karimloo (Anatasia). Also honored were Tino Gagliardi (President & Executive Director Local 802 AFM), Geoffrey A. Mills ( President & CEO GAM Hospitality), and Gene O'Donovan (Founder Aurora Productions). Baruch Shemtov (Fox 5 Entertainment Reporter) hosted the evening and Jamie deRoy & Haley Swindal made appearences. The audience was treated to performances by Chicago The Musical and P.S. 176 Brooklyn.

Since 1982, Inside Broadway has impacted the lives of nearly one million NYC public school students with its one-of-a kind theatre arts and education programs that enrich, educate, and foster new generations of theatergoers and the Broadway Beacon Awards are presented to individuals in the theatre community who have been advocates for increasing audiences for live theater & understanding the importance of Arts & Educations in New York City's young people.
