It's a new season full of new experiences at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The 2019 20 seaon is jam-packed with legends of world music, acclaimed dance companies, renowned classical musicians, returning favorites and more.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents pianist Inon Barnatan, recently named music director of the La Jolla's prestigious SummerFest, who makes his Wallis debut with an adventurous program of piano suites by Bach, Handel, Ligeti and others on Saturday, June 22, 2019, 7:30 pm, at The Wallis' Bram Goldsmith Theater. The solo recital features Handel's Chaconne in G Major, HWV, 442, Couperin's L'Atalante, Ravel's Rigaudon from Le Tombeau de Couperin, Bach's Allemande from Partita in D Major, BWV, 828, and Ades' Blanca Variations. Barnatan also performs Ligeti's Musica Ricercata, Nos. 11 & 10, Rameaus's Courante from Suite in A minor, RCT. 5, Barber's Fugue from Sonata for Piano, Op. 26, and Brahms' Variations and Fugue on a Theme by Handel, Op. 24. Celebrated for his poetic sensibility, musical intelligence and consummate artistry, Barnatan has been hailed by the New York Times as "one of the most admired pianists of his generation." A regular soloist with many of the world's foremost orchestras and conductors, the Israeli pianist recently completed his third and final season as the inaugural Artist-in-Association of the New York Philharmonic. He is the recipient of both the 2009 Avery Fisher Career Grant and Lincoln Center's Martin E. Segal Award, which recognizes "young artists of exceptional accomplishment."

The La Jolla Music Society, which celebrates its 50th anniversary season this year, has announced the complete programming for its 34th SummerFest under the new musical direction of globally-renowned pianist Inon Barnatan. With its enormously varied concert offerings ranging from interdisciplinary collaborations to chamber arrangements of the orchestral canon and newly commissioned works to French Baroque, the La Jolla Music Society SummerFest carries on its tradition of world-class concert offerings, uniting a stellar roster of resident soloists, composers, ensembles, and artistic fellows in the San Diego area for the month of August.

Music Director Osmo V nsk and the Grammy Award-winning Minnesota Orchestra today unveiled plans for the ensemble's 2019-20 season, which runs from September 2019 to June 2020, and includes Classical, Holiday, Live at Orchestra Hall, Chamber Music, Music and Mindfulness, Young People's Concerts, and Sensory-Friendly and Relaxed Family Concerts.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will greet spring with a special 90th Birthday Salute to George Crumb featuring two programs of nine different works on April 14 and 16. American Icon: George Crumb at 90 will include theworld premiere of the iconic composer's KRONOS-KRYPTOS for Percussion Quintet (a CMS co-commission), the first commission he accepted in more than 15 years.

The Massapequa Philharmonic, under the direction of its music director David Bernard, continues its 2018-2019 season with a selection of dramatic works, including Beethoven's Overture to King Stefan, Schumann's Symphony No. 2 and Lalo's Cello Concerto featuring noted cellist Adrian Daurov.

Composer Sebastian Currier's Ghost Trio, written for violinist and longtime champion of his music Anne-Sophie Mutter, receives its world premiere at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, March 12 at 8:00 p.m. Performed by Ms. Mutter with cellist Daniel Muller-Schott and pianist Lambert Orkis, the work is a piano trio that explores the history and legacy of the genre through allusions to classic works. Ms. Mutter, Mr. Muller-Schott, and Mr. Orkis reprise the work at Chicago's Symphony Center on Sunday, March 17 at 3:00 p.m.

La Jolla Music Society, one of the West Coast's foremost performing arts institutions, has announced the launch of its greatly-anticipated, cutting edge new home, The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center (The Conrad), with three illustrious opening-weekend concerts. With ceremonies, performances, and receptions being held Friday through Sunday, April 5, 6, and 7, 2019, the variety and caliber of these festivities in celebration of its $82 million, 49,000-square-foot complex reflect La Jolla Music Society's invaluable positioning in the classical music world at large, and especially of its immeasurable significance to performing arts programming on an international scale. 

The Los Angeles Philharmonic announces its 98th summer season at the Hollywood Bowl. The Hollywood Bowl summer season features world-class artists ranging from classical and pops to jazz, rock, and world music including the world premiere of two new LA Phil-commissioned works plus a fully-staged Broadway musical.

The artistry of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Xian Zhang is "Front & Center" in the Orchestra's 2019-20 season, announced today. Classical highlights include a Winter Festival featuring works from the stage-including Wagner's The Ring Without Words, Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and Mozart's Don Giovanni-performances of co-commissions from Qigang Chen and Christopher Rouse, a weekend of Beethoven's complete piano concertos, key artistic partnerships with diverse organizations, return engagements by audience-favorite guest artists and solo turns by multiple NJSO musicians.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) and Music Director Louis Langree announced details of the much-anticipated 125th Anniversary Season beginning in September at Music Hall. The 2019-20 season welcomes acclaimed guest artists including Renee Fleming, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Artist-in-Residence Guy Braunstein and Grammy winner Isabel Leonard, among others. The season includes performances of Beethoven's legendary Akademie program, a fully staged production of Ravel's opera, L'Enfant et les sortileges, seven CSO commissions, five world premieres, three U.S. premieres, as well as an experimental new concert series titled CSO Proof. The 125th Anniversary Season marks the launch of new initiatives both on and off the stage that build on the CSO's legacy. Leading up to the season, the Orchestra presents CSO Look Around, a first-of-its-kind event celebrating community, diversity, and inclusivity on August 3.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) has announced the details of its 2019-20 season. Titled Milestones, this celebration of CMS's 50thanniversary will feature the most expansive presentation of chamber music in its history - from its beginnings up to today - through worldwide performances, numerous educational initiatives, and a multi-media exhibition at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. CMS will continue to expand its already extensive free digital offerings, releasing a 50-episode podcast series highlighting some of the best performances from the last five decades.

The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) have announced that they will embark on a two-week tour of North America in April 2019, where they will give eight concerts over 15 days in major cities including New York, Boston, and Stanford.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center starts its 2019 winter/spring season in Alice Tully Hall with two exciting performances. The Girl Who Loved Wild Horses, a Meet the Music!concert for families based on Paul Goble's haunting tale of a Native American girl who understands horses on a mystical level, will be presented on January 13. Led by series creator and host Bruce Adolphe, the performance features flutist Sooyun Kim, clarinetist Romie de Guise-Langlois, cellist Mihai Marica, pianist David Kaplan, percussionist Eduardo Leandro, and a free instrumental petting zoo in the lobby for kids. It will be followed by Esteemed Ensemble, which reunites close friends and colleagues pianist Wu Han, violinist Daniel Hope, violist Paul Neubauer, and cellist David Finckel,performing piano quartet classics by Suk, Brahms, and Dvo?ak on January 27 and 29.

The Houston Symphony celebrates Thanksgiving weekend by giving thanks for the musical legacy of two of the greatest symphonic composers of all time, Mozart and Brahms. The orchestra is joined by exciting guest artists Inon Barnatan, piano and David Danzmayr, conductor for A Mozart & Brahms Thanksgiving at 8 p.m., Nov. 23-24, and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 25 at Jones Hall.

On Saturday, October 27 at 8 pmand Sunday, October 28 at 4 pm,the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) welcomes pianist Inon Barnaton and conductor Marcelo Lehninger to Princeton for collaboration on a two-day cycle of all five piano concertos completed by Ludwig van Beethoven. Concertos Nos. 1, 2, and 4 make up the Saturday program and Nos. 3 and 5 (The Emperor) are reserved for Sunday. Both concerts are at historic Richardson Auditorium, Alexander Hall on the campus of Princeton University and include a free Pre-Concert Talk for ticket holders.

The highly-acclaimed, young Ariel Quartet returns to New York City in the fall of 2018 with two captivating performances: as a part of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra's Nightcap series, as well as the Aspect Foundation for Music & Arts series, based at The Italian Academy of Columbia University.
