Well, we did it! Broadway Sessions recently celebrated it's 10th anniversary with a full blown SUPER SHOW! We invited back some of our favorite performers to recreate some of our favorite musical moments. We also had some incredible new memories made! Our All-Star cast dazzled the SRO room. BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday night, June 28th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate 10 years of being Broadway's favorite night out with an anniversary super show! Themed, Broadway Sessions: Greatest Hits, Broadway Sessions guests will return to recreate some of the series most memorable musical moments.

As you know, February is Black History Month. We here at Broadway Sessions wanted to take a moment to reflect on the massive impact of African American legacy on Broadway and beyond. We rallied an incredible roster of some of Broadway's most fantastic voices to speak and sing on the subject. The result was moving and hilarious and powerful and poignant. And the singing? Well, let's just say y'all aren't ready for this!

Writers Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy, Heathers), Rob Rokicki (The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, Monster Songs), Nat Zagree, Carner and Gregor, Drew Gasparini, Thomson and Desmon, Nate Bertone and Melissa Modifier, Alexander Sage Oyen and Joe Iconis all presented amazing new music interpreted by vocalists Luca Padovan ( School of Rock), Allie Trimm (13), Emily Schultheis (Wicked), Imari Hardon (Avenue Q), Kate Loprest (Wicked), Janinie DiVIta (If/Then), Marissa Rosen (DIVA) and more.
