Broadway Stars Zachary Noah Piser And Danny Quadrino To Read WE SO HAPA TV Pilot In NYC

Zachary Noah Piser (Wicked, Sweeney Todd), Danny Quadrino (Bye Bye Birdie, Newsies, Wicked), Imari Hardon (Avenue Q) and Troy Iwata (The Boy Who Danced On Air) to lead private industry reading of We So Hapa, a new comedy.

Charlie Sohne is directing the TV pilot reading, which will be held at the Music Hall of the Dramatists Guild Fund on May 16th in Manhattan.

The cast also features Alex Chester, Brandon Curry, Jennifer Haining, Sylvia Madden, Vishaal Reddy.

We So Hapa, written by Troy Iwata, is a comedy that follows Lex, an ethnically ambiguous, biracial, Asian-American actor. He struggles to find who he is in the face of ignorance, racism and feelings of isolation from an industry that's all too ready to turn him into someone he's not.
