Netflix has announced that its animated Green Eggs and Ham series will launch on November 8th!

Comedy Central today announced the official name of the highly-anticipated, Awkwafina-led series: Awkwafina is Nora From Queens. The #1 brand in comedy also announced the slate of predominantly female and diverse directors for the 10-episode series: Emmy® Award-nominated actress/director Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll), Lucia Aniello (Broad City), Jamie Babbit (But I'm a Cheerleader), The Daniels (Swiss Army Man), Steven Tsuchida (Younger) and Anu Valia (The Other Two). Currently in production in New York, Awkwafina is Nora From Queens is slated to premiere on Comedy Central in January 2020.

Jacqueline Novak: Get On Your Knees, written by and starring Jacqueline Novak, has extended its limited run to October 6th, due to overwhelming ticket sales and rave reviews. This will be the final extension and the show must close on that date. The show, 'a standup comedy set that inclines towards theater (New York Times),' plays the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, between Hudson and Bleecker Streets), having transferred from the Cherry Lane Theatre, where the whole run sold out. Jacqueline Novak: Get on Your Knees is presented by Natasha Lyonne, and executive produced by Mike Birbiglia. Mike Lavoie, Carlee Briglia and Abingdon Theatre Company are producers.

Sunanda's debut solo show, How Gay am I? is a comedic multimedia exploration of her own queerness. Deadline reports that Ilana Glazer has set her first project post-Broad City: a horror film she co-wrote called False Positive, in which she stars in along with Justin Theroux and Pierce Brosnan. John Lee co-wrote and will direct the project at A24.

Netflix has announced the voice cast for 'Green Eggs and Ham,' based on the beloved book by Dr. Seuss. The upcoming animated series follows opposites "Guy" and "Sam" as they venture out on a road trip to save an endangered animal from a far off zoo. Along the way they learn to try new things like hope, friendship, and a certain delectable dish.
