Symphony Space today made livestreaming tickets available for its robust, wide-ranging 2021-22 season, realizing its ambition to emerge from the COVID-19 shutdown as an institution committed to a hybrid model, with live events streamed in real time to audiences straight from Symphony Space’s stages in Manhattan.

The original principal cast of Downton Abbey will all once again return for the second film, including Harry Hadden-Paton, Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton, Kevin Doyle, Allen Leech, and more.  In addition to the original cast, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, Dominic West, and Jonathan Zaccaï will join the cast.

 The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 26th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Thirteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.  

Symphony Space will welcome audiences back into its New York City home this season for a wide range of memorable events that take place for one night only, and only at Symphony Space.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 5th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Eighteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.  

Selected Shorts will return to the Symphony Space stage with a joyful night of short fiction about the triumphs and heartbreaks of life in the theater with a cast of characters including married, sparring divas and a cuckolded drummer.

The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, now in their tenth year, kicks off their rigorous professional experience for artists 25 and under tonight with their own production of The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues, featuring the 43 program participants and 12 guest writers from previous years of the Nationals program.

The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will host a special edition tonight in support of Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC. The actors performing the series of Viral Monologues will include: Deborah S. Craig, Eugene Young, Francesca McKenzie, Jackie Chung, Ken Leung, Louis Ozawa, Manu Narayan, Maureen Sebastian, Pun Bandhu, and more.

Tony Award winner Gavin Creel and Tony Award nominee Aaron Tveit will reunite for a brand-new duet for Miscast21, premiering on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 8pm ET on MCC's YouTube Channel.

The actors performing the series of Viral Monologues will include: Allison Posner, Andrew Leeds, Anika Larsen, Bonnie Milligan, Chad Burris, Derek Klena, Derrick Baskin, Joél Pérez, Lennon Parham, Maria-Christina Oliveras, Melody A.
