THE PETER PLAYS, written and directed by John Robert Tillotson, announced today industry readings will be presented at 12 Noon on Thursday, August 8, 2019, and 7:30 pm on Friday, August 9, 2019, at Clinton Cameo Studios (307 West 43rd Street), starring Steven Hauck (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), LeeAnne Hutchison (God Shows Up) and Grant Neale (upcoming: MET Opera Porgy and Bess). Production stage management is by C.A. Clark and Travis Acreman.

'Acting Is My Destiny', a one-woman play by Youlim Nam will be born onto the stage as part of NY Summer Theatre Festival 2019.

Clowning around in rehearsal with Stephen Spurling's 'Death Of A Shoe Salesman' which opens this week at the New York Theatre Festival. Cast and crew work out some clown technique, physical comedy skills, timing and improv during their final rehearsals before heading into the theatre on Thursday!

Executive Director Kam Bellamy announces Churchtown Dairy's first-ever theatrical venture: The Dairy presents The Madwoman of Chaillot, written by Jean Giradoux and adapted by Maurice Valency, in a production by innovative theatre company The Lunar Stratagem, running July 19-27, 2019 in the unique and architecturally striking Round Barn.

Matthew Ethan Davis, who kept them laughing a month ago with Sleep At Your Own Risk, now scares us with Faster Than Shadows, directed by Ivette Dumeng and featuring Meghan E. Jones, Alfredo Diaz and Bryan James Hamilton; with lighting by Gilbert Pearto and sound by Bryan James Hamilton.

Stephen Spurling's wacky play 'Death Of A Shoe Salesman' is gonna be killing it at the New York Theatre Festival this August! Directed by Christopher Noffke and assisted by Lauren Shields, this hilarious romp features Hannah Howzdy (Wanda), Alex Stone (Roger), Jack Flatley (Charles), Mel Gonzales (The Salesman), Benjamin Cardona (Dr. Blake), and Dean Scotti (The Brains) and Mitchell Torres (Not The Brains). Dirty Laundry Theatre opens its door with the inaugural showing of BORDERS premiering at the Hudson Guild Theatre and running June 25, 26, and 29. the play is written by international playwright Nimrod Danishman.

Featuring an all Argentinean cast: Valeria Llaneza, Carmen Borla, Natalia Ivana Escobar and Jesica Terry. The play tells the life story of four completely different friends who had been complementing each other for twenty-five years: Katherine, Caroline, Nathalie and Vivian. During one of their regular gatherings, the unexpected happens and their friendship is tested.

THE JIMMY AWARDS announces the 2019 INSPIRING TEACHER AWARD will be given to Matthew Hinson, Northwest School of the Arts, Charlotte, North Carolina and Tasha Partee, Lawrence Woodmere Academy, Woodmere, New York for the encouragement and inspiration that led their students to win the coveted Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor.
