This weekend, Emmy  and  Golden Globe nominated actress JoBeth Williams and Award winning Broadway, film and television actor Harris Yulin star in the the digital presentation of the new play  We Have To Hurry, streaming live via Broadway on Demand for two performances only.

TheaterWorks Hartford is currently streaming Moonlighters by Hartford playwright Cin Martinez on demand through June 25, 2021. Rapp is thrilled to return to Oxford where she lived for a couple of years in the mid 90s to study short story writing before moving back to Los Angeles to write movies for Robert Altman. Two years later her movie, Cookie’s Fortune, a Mississippi comedy, was directed and produced by Altman and filmed in Holly Springs, Mississippi.    

NAATCO, today announced that the company has commissioned five Asian American playwrights, all women, to write monologues for characters no younger than 60-years-old. Each monologue will be at least 30 minutes long, and all five will be performed together as a piece entitled Out of Time.

Dan O'Brien is an internationally-recognized playwright and poet who has received such honors the Guggenheim Fellowship in Drama, the Horton Foote Prize, the Edward M. Kennedy Prize and two PEN America Awards. O'Brien has published three poetry collections (War Reporter, New Life, and Scarsdale) and is set to release his new book next month.
