Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, “Hamilton” features Tony Award winners Lin-Manuel Miranda as Alexander Hamilton; Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson; Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler; Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr; and more. The cast of Out of the Box Theatrics’ Millennials Are Killing Musicals by Nico Juber, directed by Ciara Renée, will head into the studio this week to record its original cast album to be released this fall on Yellow Sound Label.  

Out of the Box Theatrics releases behind-the-scenes rehearsal photos from the Off-Broadway developmental production of Millennials Are Killing Musicals, written by Drama League songwriting contest and NAMT Challenge winner Nico Juber.

The production, to be directed by Ciara Renée (Waitress, Frozen), will play a limited engagement from May 7-28, 2023, at Theatre 71 at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament.

Following critically acclaimed, sold-out engagements in the UK, the reimagined 50th Anniversary tour of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR will make its anticipated Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from May 31 – June 5, 2022.

Taking place March 11th through March 14th, Front-Row Fringe Festival, a brand-new online festival, is giving theatre makers a socially responsible way to stage their shows. Theatricals (Slave Play ,A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet) and  father/son writing duo Jacob and Jeff Foy (Emergency, One Night Only, The Z Team), this festival aims to help fill the void many theatre lovers are feeling during the pandemic.  

Actress Renée Elise Goldsberry, who plays Angelica Schuyler, and Leslie Odom Jr., who plays Aaron Burr, take the audience “Behind the Scene” of this show about Alexander Hamilton’s rise from one of the Founding Fathers of the United States to his fatal duel with Aaron Burr.

Original cast members from Hamilton reunited on Zoom for a Screen Actors Guild Q&A this weekend. The Zoom call featured Lin-Manuel Miranda, Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Leslie Odom Jr, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Okieriete Onaodowan, Phillipa Soo and director Thomas Kail.

Hamilton could be picking up even more awards in the coming year! It was announced by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that the Disney+ filmed production of Hamilton has been submitted and accepted by the Golden Globes in the comedy or musical categories.

Looped, a virtual venue that connects fans to those who inspire them, will host the second #HAM4CHANGE fundraisers conceived and organized by members of the original cast of Hamilton to benefit organizations that are working to end systemic racism on Sunday, August 9 1:00 PM EST.
